it happens 3-4 times a day now. even though there's absolutely nothing wrong with my internet. and it takes forever to get back in. anyone else dc'ing constantly?

So done with crashing, it’s gotten so bad
Said I’m so sick of freezing, I just want to play
So, why can’t this all get patched away?

This used to be just the nature of Cyrodiil, but now I just got dropped for doing nothing, I was just looking at my inventory. "An unknown error has occurred". Try to relog - "Booted from server". Great, now I have to wait 10+ minutes... why?

This specific problem sounds like it could be a problem with bandwidth allocation or network congestion. Maybe even an overheating router or broken LAN port on the router.Last week, I was getting many 'An Error Has Occurred' crashes, but this week my wife is getting them.
We use the same internet connection so It could be assumed that if it was our internet causing the error, we would both get booted. But that is not the case.

I was able to raise my FPS to 240 and lower my ping to 48 by doing this and switching to GW2. My necromancer got an enormous buff as well! Haven't had a DC yet and maintenance required me to restart my client once. The process took 30 seconds. Speaking of which, my client and launcher no longer crash. Praise be to the Divines!
Khajiit looks so different though. Bigger, meaner and has poor posture.

Yeah the 999+ ping does happen on rare occasions to me too. Not sure why, maybe it's the ZOS servers or my provider or a faulty internet node somewhere in between(my guess is faulty internet node near ZOS's servers). But something important to note, which is also shown in the video: You were not disconnected or thrown to the login screen, despite the very high ping. If this 999+ ping happens to me, I'm never disconnected or thrown to the login screen either.

So it is doubtful that 999+ ping is due to the ESO servers, or is the cause of players being disconnected constantly. Like I said, the 999+ ping is most likely due to a faulty internet node somewhere.

Not even doing that anymore, TBH. Time I waste logging into ESO is time I’m not spending on the other MMO I’m playing right now (that one has no performance issues — my ping is always 60-70 in that game). I’m now logging into ESO once a week to do writs and confirm “yup, still having ping spikes in the 400s while simply crafting.” When I stop seeing those horrendous ping spikes, I may consider logging in more than once a week.

Time spent on the ESO forum is time not playing the other MMO. I'm just curious: if someone is not playing ESO, then why is the forum a major focus?
