Gold companion gear

So, the high island event in past, zos gave us a gold ring for companion from the boxes. the Necrom event has passed, the golden road event is underway, there were boxes for the reward scale. Where is my precious? To be honest, I'm tired of Zenimax starting to do something and then completely forgetting about it. so if I understood correctly in the game code the golden equipment of companions exists, but they don’t want to offer us ways to get it?

Rewards get cheaper and cheaper. Clearly its not in the budget.

I'd recommend everyone do the math to see how much money they basically have as an inflow per day.

Starting to do something then appearing to forget about it and let it languish? That would be the lonely one (gray) option for the Warden's bear. How long has the gray bear option been languishing on its lonely own?

If it's any consolation, Slate-Gray Summoned Bear is being updated in Update 44 to become a Skill Style — though there's no new icon for it yet. Sorcerer is also getting a pet reskin Skill Style called Summon Winged Twilight, Warrior. Pet reskins will happen, and we may see more Skill Styles for Feral Guardian in the future.

I've been looking out for any additional gold Companion equipment pieces, but I've found none more than the Companion's Ascendant Ring. I'd like to have a Companion in a full set of gold Quickened equipment, but maybe ZOS doesn't particularly want that to happen. After all, the highest quality of Companion gear you can get on the PTS is purple — so it seems like gold is only meant for very specific promotional events.

After all the doubt, I'm so relieved I ended up not spending money on gold road to participate in this event.
I always enjoy the zone specific events, but I was just nervous I'd be too disappointed in the rewards, and now that the golden companion item is not even there anymore, I'd have felt more regret over spending so much money.

I knew there was something off this year. I thought it was the lack of a target dummy, but gold companion gear, of course!
