Salvation should be buffed to the level of Shapeshifter's Chain

Salvation is a base game overland set made to buff Werewolf players, but it is currently overshadowed by the Shapeshifter's Chain mythic item by a large margin.

Werewolves do not benefit from Werewolf Transformation cost reduction at all while transformed, leaving them with just these buffs while transformed:
  • Salvation (5-piece Medium Armor)
    • Up to +2192 Maximum Stamina and +129 Stamina Recovery from 2-4 piece bonuses.
    • +150 Weapon and Spell Damage.
  • Shapeshifter's Chain (Mythic, Necklace)
    • +1707 Maximum Stamina, Magicka, and Health.
    • 15% cost reduction to all Werewolf abilities.

Salvation's in-form bonuses are vastly overshadowed by the in-form bonuses of Shapeshifter's Chain. Neither of these sets are meta for Werewolf Damage Dealers in PvE, but Shapeshifter's Chain was given a compelling use case in PvP and solo arenas when the cost reduction of the Werewolf Transformation ability was changed to also apply to Werewolf's other abilities, which makes it a better sustain set than Salvation by a large margin.

I'd personally prefer if Werewolf could use their Ultimate while transformed to trigger some new effect, which would give Salvation a compelling use case over Shapeshifter's Chain as it offers a greater Werewolf Transformation cost reduction bonus in comparison. Alternatively, I'd suggest that the cost reduction of Salvation should also apply to Werewolf's active abilities, which would make this set a decent (and more thematic) sustain set in comparison to popular options such as Wretched Vitality.

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

A mythic should be better than an overland set. Otherwise, why would you hunt down the mythic? You are correct, Salvation is bad. Its basically a stamina regen set with a terrible 5 piece bonus.

I wouldn't hold out hope that anything will happen to help werewolves at any point in this game. Savage Werewolf, another WW-specific build was gutted years ago. Crimson Twilight, which worked well on a WW was also nerfed. While I would love for wolves to make a comeback, especially in PVP, its not happening. Not even this WW-specific mythic does enough to make them viable in PVE, let alone PVP where they were meant to shine

Tbh I always though that salvation should be a "kiss-curse" set. So it would make you weaker in human form, but way stronger in WW form. Like you have some penalty in human form, but some cool & unique buff in WW form. Because, right now Salvation is just a set that can be pretty much only usefull when you are levelling up WW, so you need to transform faster. But, once you have maxed WW, salvation is out-preformed by a vast majority of sets.

Yeah it's a shame though despite all of the drawbacks I will still bring the wolf out regardless of content I am doing, I would rather play another game over going with something "meta" and not use wolf in pve or pvp. :)

150 weapon and spell damage is an utter pittance. It should be 600-700 for the drawback of only gaining power in that form.

Nothing makes me more mad than seeing niche builds not be properly rewarded with true investment in item sets and skills. Been having this problem with frost warden for years on and off.

We do not need any more generic sets that buff your weapon and spell damage by a ton when you do something very basic.

We need more sets and reworks to existing sets with niches that truely elevate the gameplay of niche builds that require investment. Frost dps, shock dps. Werewolf, vampire. All of them aren't good enough to be truely strong builds that stand above "yeah just use flame damage sources and whatever bis crap everyone else is running." Salvation, Vampire Lord, even Shapeshifter's chain. All of them are crap. Hell, Frostbite is barely okay on pure frost dps builds but still not better than generic bis sets like relequen even when investing nearly everything into frost dps.
