The BIG problem I have with this, is that we were sold a class, and then they proceeded to nerf the class afterwards, meaning we no longer have the class we wanted.
If it was OP at inception, it should have been changed THEN, not after.
The explanation is they have 'done calculations'. How come they didn't do these calculations before? This is not an acceptable excuse for the changes, it feels very contrived.
I am now wondering when they will stop. I mean the last several patches were nerfs to Arcanists, it doesn't mean this is the last nerf in the 'plan for Arcanists'
I very much object to being sold a class under false pretences, when the intention was to nerf the class all along.
The other really weird thing is, this is their major class now. The majority of people seem to be playing it(anecdotally). If this is the case, then any nerf affects the majority of the population. This is a weird stance to take, annoying the majority of your players.
It may well explain the drop off in people. You gave them a new class to help reinvigorate their interest in the game, then nerfed it, again, and again, and again. Then one more time this coming patch. I am not sure of the logic behind this decision.
