You can play a scholar or a noble in this game though, and I doubt that a young Telvanni or the son of an Altmer kinlord spends a lot of time doing hard physical work or fighting.

Even in a fantasy/medievel type setting, they still had skincare products, they might have been toxic to you (arsinic/lead for skin for example), but they still existed, and in a fantasy world, who knows what type of skincare they have.
Look at some of the telvanni, there are a lot of them that are ancient, but don't look that old.

Oh, ok. That is not what I meant. I meant someone around 20 years of age. My mistake (English is not my mother tongue).
I will correct title and precise it in the first posting.
EDIT: It was never and will never be my intention to create a playable child in ESO and I will never ask for such. I understand and fully support the decision to not model children at all in ESO.

Why would anyone even want to play a child? Who would take a child adventurer seriously? Lore-accurate gameplay would probably revolve around staying at home and mending torn clothes or being in the garden feeding the chickens. Or being scolded by your parents because you did neither of these tasks they asked you to do. While that might feel adventurous to some, it might not be quite what the majority finds exiting

I said now many times clearly that I DON'T ASK to implement the possibility to play a child.
I think we can close this side discussion for good now
It was just a misunderstanding due to me not being a native speaker.

It's the regular bathing. Notice how almost everyone on Vvardenfell has a bathtub.
Nah, seriously: That's most probably magic. Normal hygiene and skincare dosn't really help against injuries that cause bigger scarring. But not everyone in Tamriel is a laborer or warrior, so some just wouldn't be affected by wounds or even intense sun exposure.
I think arsenic as skincare was a 19th century fad, btw? Lead was used much earlier, already in ancient Rome.

Yes, I understood. I was just wondering why someone would think you might have suggested that, as I can't think of a reason why someone would want that. It just makes no sense considering what the player character does in this game.

Also, who is to say that skincare in ESO isn't partially magic to begin with.

In fairness, being under constant Daedric threat and an ever persisting war would age me too. Life in Tamriel takes its toll on people!

It's cool to add more skin textures and options.
But I think the pressure to "stay young always"...again, it don't look old to me...people naturally do have lines around their eyes or mouth if they smile... instead of holding their face still like a robot... to be "attractive" is so unhealthy in society.
Yes make your character as you like it but, why throwing shade at older people and characters?
I don't know. I like their faces. they don't look unrealistic. give people options but don't destroy what already exists please.
