    It is a two barred (toggle?) skill that gives you everlasting buffs as far as I read. Looks like a pet to me that is slapped on your back...

    No, double bar pets can absorb damage for you and have additional activated skills.

    All that banner does is restrict your resources by a hefty amount to benefit ball groups, and it doesn’t stack either.

    The resource restriction and lack of stacking alone should be enough of a drawback for the skill without the need to have it on both bars.

    yeah tested it (on a damage dealer for damage dealing purpose ;D).Feedback:
    • cool idea with a tad too much visual effects (aura has more vfx than a ground based ability)
    • focus scripts seem ok - sadly it will be one more cog in the power creep machine (Hm/trials)
    • I wish there was a significant self buff script. the only interesting one was the minor heroism and that is meh
    • class scripts are crap/boring
    all in all it is too small an increase to dps and thus I will not bother interacting with it

    The resource mali and the two bar requirement did not affect me because I was thinking on running it on a two-bar HA DD. The setup has two open slots where I am running revealing flare right now as there is no suitable alternative.

    I cannot see it on a tank.
    I can see it on a RoJo healer.
    I can see it on a HA-DD
    I assume it will be useless in pvp but havent played that part of the game excessively for two years.

    Can you be affected by all focus form of B.B. in same Time ?

    Update, with fiery banner I managed to just about equal my current DPS.
    I am surprised the aoe visual FX can be used in towns and even when mounted, looks epic but if everyone uses it there could be a problem around the banker lol.

    On the trial dummy, I was just able to keep my stamina from running out with only 2 HAs in one 21M dummy. However there are 2 less key presses. So, it makes play easier, cooler looking, opportunities to buff team mates, but sustain is going to be the big issue for many. I will use it for now and see how it goes. Overall I'd say it's a good addition that brings something new to the gameplay and it's welcome, but I think it could be tweaked for slightly more damage and tone down the visual FX maybe.

    Am a little late to the party, but just tried it out yesterday.

    It's so fricking LOUD. Ohhhhhh man. I had to take it out of my bar after a few mins, cos I just couldn't stand the noise of it any longer. The thought of going through a whole trial with it was horrifying. Maybe there's an add-on that reduces the pain, but I shouldn't have to rely on user add-ons to make the skill useable.

    Please reconsider the volume of this skill, and if you dial down the glowy floor too, that'd be fab.

    Its a great idea however I would recommend making the following adjustments -

    - The sound effects are terrible and noisy. I'd love to maybe have no sound at all with it.
    - Like the sound effects, the visual effects are over-the top and distracting. This is main reason I won't run it with groups as we need to see the mechanics/boss effects and it just adds to all the chaos going on. Please disable the visual effects.
    - I notice that its a 1 bar effect, unless banner is slotted on both bars. While not an entirely unreasonable setup, seems kind of strange to me for this type of ability. Slotting it on 1 bar and not requiring it to be on both bars would be a great deal more useful, otherwise this weighs differently against other 'lesser' skills, and I'm forced to choose them as this banner lacks reliability.

    Otherwise, I like the idea. Its great to be able to expand functionality in a manner like this. The regen penalty doesn't bother me as most of my characters have little or no regen anyways. I would caution though to please do not debuff other things like mitigation, block, speed and/or health as that will force many of us to automatically decline using this.

    While we're at it, the bright-blue flashing effects from Imperial Physique is also too heavy. I won't use it for that reason, its not pleasant to sit there and watch that for too long on my character. Can we please get an option to turn-off the Imperial Physique visual for our side? Like I don't care if the 'enemy' sees I'm using the set, but I can't stand using it the way it is now.

    Would be nice to have some peace lol.

    Before someone mentions "but what about Oakensoul", you can add a condition to Oakensoul that states "any 2 bar requirement skill is treated as if it's on 2 bars despite using only 1".. or something like that.

    I haven't actually done this but I would imagine with oakensoul you could potentially "double bar" it anyway.

    It works quite good on my HA gank build (testing atm) on my stamblade and can replace Oakensoul:

    * Anthelmir's
    * Tarnished
    * Deadlands Assassin

    Banner Bearer:
    * Damage or Mitigation
    * Cavalier's Charge (does benefit from Swift on Jewelry)
    * Major Brutality (replace the essential Oakensoul buff)

    So far I am quite happy with this build. My magicka pool is quite low and I use magicka just for cloak on crit opener. Opener is heavy attack with 3 procs from above sets, which hits like a truck.
    Weapon Damage with Merciless Resolve is ~6.3k after leaving stealth.

    I've really enjoyed using banner so far. My only real complaint about it thus far is really that the banner visual itself it kind of distracting and I wish that the ability visual was just the aura effect instead. (likely with a rename to aura bearer or something to follow suit)

    Also since the aura can pulse healing/shielding it would be nice if there was an option to make it pulse damage too, though I can understand how that might step on the toes of the sorcerer signature script and it is admittedly cool that they have that as a unique option so I'm kind of on the fence with that suggestion.
