Please take health recovery off of Corrupting Bloody Mara and replace it.

The food advances your vampirism to stage 4 where health recovery is reduced by 100%. This makes absolutely zero sense as it is now. Please replace health recovery with a different bonus.

On second thought, you can leave the health recovery bonus on the food and just take away the health recovery penalty on vampires. the current penalties of being a vampire are extremely punishing.

This drink can still be used on mortals and werewolves, where the health recovery does still apply. It isn't exclusive to vampires only.

Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

Right, but why would you use this when Pickled Fish Bowl exists.

For the health recovery that you don't get on Pickled Fish Bowl, obviously.

Health recovery is weak in pvp. Since I'm playing stage 4 vamp, it's even more pointless.

This would just push everyone back to running vamp again. With the undeath nerf, there are actual pros and cons for running vampire now. Take away the health recovery debuff, and we're back to square one.

There's still the additional skill cost and fire damage to deal with.

In what possible use-case? That seems way more like an RP food choice than a min/maxed one.

You're in PvP you go Sugar Skulls if you want max stats (and health regen for whatever reason since it's giga-nerfed there).

You're in PvE you go Pickled if you want max stats as a magDPS.

Really struggling to find a reason why anyone would take Mara over those options.

Sure, but removing one of the downsides would still tilt the scales back in Undeath's favor.

It's a drink, so if you happen to be one of the few people left running Bright Throats it would be a decent option.

It's also more mag, health, and health recovery than Bewitched, so if you're on a build that doesn't need the stamina from Sugar Skulls, you'd be getting more out of Bloody Mara.

The only reason would be that it advances vampirism to stage four, so if some weirdo (me) decides he wants to RP a stage 4 vamp and his stage drops in a battle ground or in cyrodil, then the food is practically made just for that situation. Maybe instead of health recovery it could add X amount of minutes to your stage 4. Or maybe it could reduce the penalties and increase the bonuses of vampirism.

Reduce the penalties would be good and on-brand. It's also in the spirit of the werewolf Bone Broth that provides a (modest) unique benefit to that subclass.

Pack Leader's Bone Broth only gives a slight cost reduction to the transformation ability — once you transform, there's no further benefit. Corrupting Bloody Mara is similar in that the unique benefit is also a one-time use.

Both drinks are typically used only for their one-time benefit and then immediately replaced with a different food or drink buff.

I don't plan to waste a gold food like that. I thought I would build so that I won't need another food . It still feels to me like it could do more.

This. I have two solo builds that use corrupting for this very reason.
