Seeing that Auriel's Bow is full, I was thinking about Dawnbreaker...but man, are we already that good that AD owns everything again like in Beta?

I just hit level 10 and was considering to go to Dawnbreaker...anyone know of any good / active campaigns (but with AD still having the overall advantage obviously?

^^This is the problem, even if it was sarcastic (hard to tell, I'm thinking no). The second the population ticks went 2/1/1 with AD in the lead, everyone who was undecided set it as home because it's an "easy win."

Biggest suggestion I can give (as a DC on Dawnbreaker) is to give up 3 DC forts and 3 EP forts. The way it's stacked right now everyone in DC and EP who has set Dawnbreaker as their home campaign is guesting other places because it's no fun to play on Dawnbreaker, and even then it's only until they've saved enough AP to transfer out.

I personally feel ER dug its own grave in this sense just due to Tamriel Foundary and the Twitch streaming during beta. The people who were keeping track of the PTS and ER streams/TF posts more than likely decided to roll AD and follow you just because you knew what you were doing. The second it became a slaughter on Dawnbreaker there was no reason for DC or EP players to even consider joining.

I'm sticking to Dawnbreaker and am just hoping that there are a lot of people doing PvE right now who haven't chosen a campaign yet and will man up to the challenge of 500:1 odds on Dawnbreaker.

PS: EP, get your s*** together

It was not sarcasm. AD literally owned everything during Beta (on Blackwater Blade and others) almost instantly and EHP and DC gave up right away and for the most part, PvP was pretty much dead aside from a few skirmishes every once in awhile. AD just seems to be the faction that has the most organization still.

Although I've been hearing that it's pointless to use PvP to level up now that the kill quest was nerfed...

I know its barely Saturday evening, but this is great opportunity for DF/EP to come in full force while many people have the weekend off. Last week Daggerfall actually gave AD a fight while EP was basically non-existant. Get yer asses in here and let's get this party started.

DF won't be able to sustain without EP. One or two losses and DF seems to fizzle out during EST/PST nightly primetime.

Well there's 2 main competitive servers (Auriel's and Wabba) and then you have most of EP on Blood, most of AD on Dawn and DC split between Skullcrusher and Hopesfire. This provides a lot of alternatives for DC players to switch to and stay competitive without having to face down overwhelming odds.

You can't over cultivate your farm because people will just go do something else. No one wants to play the victim to someone else when there's fun alternatives elsewhere. Again, player created problem here.

Good example of this was last night. We (DC) took Nikel, AD took it back. That was fine. Then we took the mill and farm at Rayels. AD took them back, got a big group, then say outside our south gate trying to farm us until a good chunk of our players got sick of it and left.

Moral of the story: AD are Richards on Dawnbreaker and prefer an uneven fight. This only being the case for those not guesting elsewhere, of course.

although it's early days yet, and the campaign populations will be in more flux than 'usual' for the next couple of weeks, The Noore is looking at leaving Dawnbreaker period

many are still there due to the fact because AD does own the map, the farming of cyrodiil dungeons, lorebooks and skyshards is easier

had an epic 9 hour pvp session against the DC zerg on skull crusher yesterday - i can only wish that every campaign becomes as much fun for every player out there, regardless of alliance

i think i just saw a pig fly past my window

I'm on AD at Dawnbreaker and I did not participate in any type of raid/gank squad the entire night. There are quite a few of us that are just dying to let you have some of the keeps back. Like you said there are "Richards" that scream bloody murder when they see like 5-10 DF/EP anywhere near your own gate. They cry that there is a huge group and requires like 2 raid groups to help quell the attack.

You can't put it all on AD though. You guys need to step up and take *** back. This is where a sub forum would be great. Being able to actively communicate with the other allegiance to possibly forum a pact to kick our ass. I really hope you guys don't give up playing on Dawnbreaker. It is incredibly fun when we are on the defensive like last Tuesday I believe it was.

I'm definitely going to stick around, and I hope the hodgepodge of a pvp guild I've been building up will stick around long enough to start balancing out a little, but even there I have my doubts. I'm sad to hear that guilds are thinking about leaving, especially if it just ends with more gank-squad players taking their place. Dawnbreaker may turn into a wasteland if that happens. Here's hoping the DC and EP people who are still leveling decide it's worth the challenge to take on a severely lopsided campaign.

We had a plan with some AD guilds for a competitive server. Now I find it funny that you guys are complaining of boredom. That's what happens when EVERYONE rolls on the same server. HENCE THE SECRET.

You reap what you sow. We are having a blast on our own campaign.

Who discussed it? There are certain AD individuals and groups who have greatly exaggerated (lied) about competition as well as people they'd be facing for quite some time now. We've found it amusing and the situation on Dawnbreaker has developed exactly as predicted.

As EP, PvP is a joke on Dawnbreaker. There is no strategy, no skill. Whoever has the biggest Zerg wins and that's almost always AD with little exception at random points in time on DC.

I left this campaign because it was impossible to do any questing. I was constantly attacked by roaming AD's who were exploring Cyrodill if I even managed to leave one of the gates [which AD camped the entire time for hours]

There is nothing fun about this campaign. In fact, there are too many available campaigns that have almost no one in them. The highlight for me has been when I managed to stealthily assassinate around 10 AD's and DC's.

I played Planetside 2 a lot as Terran on Connery and like that game, player ratio is more important than skill or strategy.

Things will change soon in the coming months. EP has very skilled pvpers (Aidan, Kamy, Conceal and I "Lucefer") are determined to change this. We top the boards on all sides and all we need is some few numbers to achieve this.. im confident the tides will change and Dawnbreaker will make of a nice story.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the first Campaign will be a lot of random comings and goings, but round two will have a lot more co ordination?
By then most guilds will have set up, be better sorted and have a plan to be on a specific Campaign, leaving the first round behind them
Creating hopefully a better over all pvp based campaign in round two

My guild is on EP Dawnbreaker. Immunity. We are a group friends only 8 or so , we been terrorzing AD in skirmishes and anything away from the 20+ zergs. We are going to try to recruit a lot more players as we keep leveling. In time as we level I think EP will start to gain control of their homelands.
