Indrik Feathers: Am I stupid? Why isn't this working?

I have all 4 of the different feathers, but nothing happens when I click on them. When I double click my character mounts in the preview screen. When I try again it says "you can't use this while mounted."

What do I do with these feathers? All 4 of them are "collected." I have no clue what I'm doing and nothing in the game explains it. Google-fu has given me nothing, except various articles telling me to "combine" them for the mount.

How???

Okay I guess I AM stupid. (Kind of.)

I had to right click on one of them when NOT in "preview" mode and select "combine".

While my character was "mounted" (in the "preview" mode), the only right-click option available was "link in chat".

Please Zenimax make this more obvious for dummies like me

Glad you got it figured out!

Different fragments/collectibles seem to work a bit differently so it’s not always intuitive.

You also have to have the base Indirik if I remember correctly.

No, the feathers are for the base indrik (aka the nascent indrik), and the berries are to morph the nascent indrik into one of the others.

For some reason they changed it recently so the 'default' action on collectibles is preview instead of activate/use.

I like having the option to preview them, but it's annoying that it's moved actual functions to other keys.

I hate that change wit burning passions, I am used to summoning Ezabi by double clicking and it makes it so annoying with the preview popping up in the process. Uggghhhhhh.
