About the Macabre Vintage Blood Effect

I just want to say that is a really cool thing! I'm not a person who likes very bloody content, however, I always felt that ESO lacked a bit of blood like a... well, Skyrim? I mean, the theme of ESO, especially in the base game, is pretty macabre, and the lack of blood has always been a bit... off


So having a set that leaves a bloodstain on the ground when you kill an enemy is pretty cool. Maybe this blood on the ground effect could be added to the game itself in the future? Maybe with a censor option in the settings.

    Totally agree even the blowing up of enemies with the blood bomb going off is a very satisfying way to play the game, I hope this set isnt change before Live its so good!!

    EDIT: A friend of mine also said it was funny chasing after me because I left a trail of blood in my wake, best part of night that run! :D

    But now I'm curious... Isn't there an option in-game that prevents blood to be shown in general?
    Am I just confusing the "no kill-camera" option?

    If the game has a no-violence option, is this set's effect going to be affected by that?
    Would like to know...

    Btw, I'm looking forward to try a build with this set! I love this kind of damage bonuses.

    I think this is a really lame brainless aoe set, filling the niche of the old plaguebreak but offering no PvP application. I like the theme a lot, but I think these game mode restricted sets are just annoying. Its just for solo-cheesing easy stuff (where you get enough kills) or a marginal range of IA stages where the verses/visions don't carry yet. Sad to see such a nice set theme wasted due to an absolutely uninteresting 5-piece bonus.
    On kill + Monsters only has to be the worst condition the game has to offer.

    It looks more for IC gankers dragging waves of mobs with him as bloodbombs then gank you with constant bloodshed. definitely a new thing for pvpve stuffs

    Yeah maybe, but that is the same thing as tri-focus. It is clearly worded in a way where you get that this is not an intended way of using it in regards to the tooltip strength offered. I think these kinds of things are just silly and the novelty wears off very quickly. Without trash or in bgs you have literally a dead 5-piece and that never feels good. That goes both ways. I dislike the "player only" sets as much as the "monster only" or "under battlespirit". Why would my character differentiate? It's just a cheap way of making overloaded stuff legit.
    At least give it some purpose for all gamemodes outside of arcanist ults.
    Not to mention the endless circles that this is going in. Why does there always need to be another gimmick set? Are people not getting tired of this? Isn't bombing in its current state brainless enough?

    If anything, ZOS has removed blood. When you fed on another player as a vampire you used to get all bloody, you don’t anymore. #BringBackTheBlood

    It's a very cool set, for sure. I was discussing it with guildies the other day, and about how it makes me want to play a blood mage style character. Props to the people who worked on it, they did a fine job.

    Same thing with Werewolf when they used to use their Devour synergy. The werewolf's maw would get all bloody, as well as the corpse they were feeding on. Unfortunately that led to some bugs where people would still be bloody after respawning, so that feature was removed pretty early on. It's a shame because I really liked having that blood VFX on my werewolf as they fed.
