Maintenance for the week of April 20:
• [COMPLETE] NA megaservers for patch maintenance – April 20, 3:00AM EDT (7:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)
• [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for patch maintenance – April 20, 7:00 UTC (3:00AM EDT) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EDT)
Not really, given that I don't even use the Outfit system in the game yet.
I do try to collect any Style pages that I can, purely for the sake of completionism and just in case I ever do start using the Outfit system-- it is "the real end game," after all-- but I'm not going to spend millions in gold to buy any pages I'm missing from guild traders, or get upset over not having a complete collection of any given style.
Not even remotely interested. Same with 99% of event styles and rewards. The only two that I've wanted in the last two years was the Daedroth onesie and the Gloamsedge style.
Don't care for mini molag, the tattoos, or the personality. Got all of last years rewards, more because I had nothing to spend tickets on. Can count one one hand how many times I've equipped or used any of it. I have so many motifs and styles I simply do not need any more. Currently collecting Indriks I'm never going to ride. Eh.
No - at least not the "special 10th anniversary ones". The only one I would have wanted of those would have been Trueflame - IF it had been a greatsword.
Otherwise - sometimes, if it's a chest piece or legs or feet I know I'll use for something eventually.
PC l NA Legends never die
They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
Legends never die
Style is important to me. So if it’s a style (or motif) that I want to use, then yes, it is something I want. If I’m neutral on it but it’s relatively common, then I will collect it because I may have a use for it in the future. I do NOT chase limited time stuff just because it’s limited time (although if unbound and behind an activity I enjoy, such as a dungeon, I may try for it to sell, but I never spend hours grinding anything). From this event, I put in some time to get the Ul’vor staff for my Maormer. If I can get the Staff of Worms and Trueflame, that would be nice, but not a huge deal if not. The other two I don’t care about at all.
I got them all because I also wanted to get motifs, recipes, furniture designs, and the deluge of mats that were dropping in the boxes. The only annoying one was the Vvardenfell world bosses, but ended up getting both after a couple hours. Maybe its the game, but I got those 2 page and the geyser page all within one hour after farming the Vvardenfell bosses for about 2-3 hours.
I didn't mind the dolmen grind. Did it in Deshaan where the wayshrines are conveniently located and got tons of boxes. Also didn't mind the fishing as it kind of propelled me back towards getting the Master Angler title.
Fashion is the true endgame, so style pages are the one thing I will always collect, easily my favourite things to find!
Whenever new ones release I always go over all my chars to see if certain new pieces fit their current look better, and I'd happily spend 30 mins to select the perfect shade of leather dye or whatever.
If outfit slots would be account wide I would have had them maxed and filled on all characters, not even a question.
Yes. I haven't missed a single new event page since I started playing shortly before Bounties of Blackwood 2021, and buy many of the event arms packs. I also have the goal of getting every single motif, iirc 100 something to go. Fashion is life.
3/5 of the special Jubilee pages so far, 1 on EU and 1 on alt also
For me they generally are because character customization is really important to me, so the more options the better. Even if the motif is something I don't have a current use for on a character, which is usually the case, I like having them in case they end up being good for something in the future.
The ones from this event though just aren't worth the amount of hours dedication. I got Trueflame since I had to do fishing for something else. I did some dolmens for the Staff of Worms but after like a half hour I just couldn't care anymore with the possibility it'd take like 10 hours--and that doesn't even account for the three others.
Not really. And i think the sad part is that the people who are spending a lot of time farming them are not even gonna use it in the end. So you see them crying about spending 30 hours with boring soul draining grinding but when they finally get the motif they are never gonna care for it anyway. Why would anyone use some ugly item with base game texture and models?
If I am going to use the style pages yes they are important. Main account has 19 characters and will likely use them, unless they are a head style. My other two accounts hardly get anything, unless it is that common I am not going to sell it, so they can always use a free style page if one is on offer. But I am not going to spend too much time trying to get some rare style page, I have better things to do with my time.
Honestly depends on the style page and how hard it is to acquire. I really don't care about the event ones right now that are hard to drop, like the geysers, dolmen, fishing, and Vvardenfell boss ones. I just prefer collecting them because its more or less something similar to, well most games with collecting, got to get them all, but if they're hard to obtain or take a very long time to farm, or those who might be PvP related, I don't really care as much.
I have been a member of ESO since April 4th 2014 but didn't get a code until recently when I asked.
My @ name on ESO is the same as on here.
That said I do collect what I can but I've been making my armor with the same motifs (even if I make new sets) going on 10 years now, for most of my characters. I think the newest motif I use is Psijic Order,. They only style pages I've used are Cadwel's,l on a mule.

I always appreciate getting them as loot the first time. Just to have more fashion options.
I especially appreciate them when it's one of the styles I don't have but really want to use.
After that?
Eh.
Writs are boring. I've done a lot of them because vouchers are a necessity and trait research on all my characters because that cost is negligible but can't really see myself learning all motifs on all characters.
I do like some select style pages or ones that have some scarcity to them like those which drop during pvp event and Jubilee because they actually feel like I accomplished something. I have bought a few crown store exclusive styles before but I hate that there's hardly anything comparable to obtain in-game.
As far motifs go I could not care less when a new one gets released. I'm happy with how my characters look and there's so many motifs in the game right now that I'll never, ever get any real use out of them except to say I 'learned' them all. I stopped collecting those way back when they started introducing crown store exclusive motifs.
