Prologue Quest Prisoner of Fate

I have started this quest twice with the same result: Toward the end, I enter Prince Ithelia's Prison -- Following Torvesard. When I enter the next scene I am supposed to find Torvesard, but instead he does not spawn. The first time, I abandoned the quest and repeated. I had the same result on the second attempt: Torvesard does not appear.

I see this as a bug but have not found any discussion on this. If someone who knows the details of this issue can comment, I'd appreciate it.

Well to answer your question, how the issue was presented by the OP is different that what I have presented. However, the very 1st commenters' comment, Windshear, does match with my issue. And a few more commenters communicated their experience was the same as mine.

Since Kevin did respond, I am not sure he is responding to the OP issue or with Windshear's issue which is different but is the same issue as mine. Maybe they are related and fixing one fixes the other.

Thank you for clarifying these are two different issues. I'm not sure which Kevin passed along, but I know he sometimes sends along whole threads. If that's the case here, hopefully the devs see both problems and can get them fixed.

Yep its broke.. second time doing it and same bug... NO respect for gamers time.. so much wasted on nonworking prolougue quest
