Lazzy launcher - any fix or workaround?

For last maybe year I've had problem with ESO launcher. It works fine for month or two, then gets "lazy" for couple weeks, then spontaneously gets normal again. Tried reporting to ESO support, but there wasn't any solution they could provide. We just went back and forth until launcher fixed itself on its own.

I'm running Steam version of the game on 64 bit Win10. What happens is, that suddenly the launcher takes several minutes to load. First there is black rectangle, then stripe of top of the window, then bit wider stripe of the top, until there's whole window. Then the news load in, but not the preview wih the pictures on the right. Then finally "play" becomes clickable. Have to hover mouse above the button for 1 - 2 seconds to get registered and after clicking there is delay registering that too. Once I click "play" the game starts and runs completelly normal.

Was going to wait this out as always, but then todays update hapened. It runs sooo slooow. Two hours in and it's only at 19%, freezes constantly, window jumps all over desktop when clicked (now it went randomly to right top corner, only tiny bit is visible and can't be grabed and moved anywhere). It is disaster. Won't be getting in game today, that is clear. No idea about next day.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this mess, or know workaround how to update game / get in game without launcher, it would be much appreciated. ESO support is unfortunatelly completely useless in this case.

Thank You for reacting @ZOS_Bill . I haven't created new ticket this time around, as it proved to be fruitless last time. Number of my last ticket is 220616-004776 (created on 6/17/2022 - wow, this been going longer than I've remembered :o ).

The patch got succesfully downloaded last night (took little over four hours even with internet having around 800 Mbps download speed = dreadful). I've tried updating to beta version of launcher after and it is 100% better - takes around 3 seconds to load. Been getting "Game crash detected" error message each time I leave game, but that is something I can live with. Now what's left is wait couple of months to see if launcher goes "lazy" again. Hope not ;) .

This is the error I'm getting on beta launcher (there was no actual crash and there's nothing wrong with the game):

i've also been getting "Game Crash Detected" every time it runs through Steam on the beta launcher. Did you find the solution to that? similar to you the game runs perfectly fine & never crashes, only after i exit normally does it "detect" a game crash.

It's not stuck loading or like anything... detrimental? It's just every time when I close the game, the launcher SAYS that a game crash was detected and that the game launch failed. Essentially like they said, the game runs 100% perfectly fine, there's no issue with the launcher, but once ESO closes, the launcher thinks the game has crashed.

Nope, have not found solution, just kind of got used to it  . Isn't much of a problem, really, since the game works fine and "lazzy launcher" didn't come back once since I'm running beta.
