Social Ban Assistance Needed

Good morning/afternoon/evening ZOS admins,

I'm reaching out in hopes to have my social ban lifted as soon as physically possible. I happen to be a Guild Leader of a large trading/social guild on PC/NA. I'm sure the culprit for this social ban is due to the fact that last night I used an addon called "GodSend" to send a mail out to my guild and our sister guild regarding our Valentine's Day Housing Contest.

I know others have received social bans while using this addon, however I've been using it for 7-8 years now without any issues and thought I might be in the clear.
As you know I am not able to send mail, access any guild traders including my own guilds, access my guild bank, place guild trader bids, open trade with other players etc.

As I'm sure you are also well aware, all of the above actions that I can no longer do, make it very difficult to run a large trading/social guild. I have opened a ticket online, and decided to come to the forums to see if I could figure out how quickly these get overturned and the consensus seems to be all over the place. I did however see that others have asked for their tickets to be looked at and that seems to speed the process up.

I opened one ticket through the game and another through the ESO website, I apologize if I should not have done it that way, but here are the 2 reference numbers:

It's always sad to see the wrong players being punished. Especially a guild leader just trying to make entertaining social content for what might be 100s of players.

I'm not 100% blaming ZOS as I can see how an add-on like that could be flagged as spam, but ultimately the decision should have come from a human, not some automated ban system. If a human took 2 seconds to see the context in which that mail was sent, they would instantly see you mean no malice.

I hope your issue to be solved soon.

As soon as you are back I recommend to have a second player who owns your trust be attributed major guild privileges so that in case this situation should be reproduced this person can act on your behalf to the good of your guild.

How come that Guild leaders often get this ban but they havent done anything to break the rules?

Social bans usually auto expire after 3 days. Next time there’s an ESO sale I recommend buying a second account for $5 and giving its own officer rank with permissions equal to GM, and using that account for guild mail and auctions. I know from experience that it’s much less painful when your dedicated guild account gets the social bans so you can still run business from your main account.

Just create a new user and start a new eso account

Wow that sucks, didnt know that.

So if you 2 people playing on same pc you need to buy the game twice? Weird

Thank you for your quick response ZOS! My account is back to working as normal.

I truly appreciate your assistance. I do actually have a 2nd account already in the guild with full perms and I have dedicated officers that could place bids etc. However, it would be a nice addition if GM's could send mails to their guilds via some in-game option instead of relying on the addons that lead to issues.
