Bard House Guests and Musical Furnishings, please!

I know they've been requested before, but I'll request 'em again: bard house guests, please! I had a lot of fun turning the interior of my Sleek Creek House into a tavern (and a thoroughly legal, yes, location to imbibe only the finest moon sugar)... I'm pleased with it, but it would be even better with a bard on stage! Some fellow guildies helped me to demonstrate what it might look like to have a bard in your house:

So much livelier, right? Sure, you can always invite friends over to perform for you, but a bard would be nice to have for your own enjoyment when it's just you in your house.

Plus, the bard could sing and you could request particular songs! Stick it in the store for 3000 crowns and it would be like printing money! Feel free to leave "The Star-Eyed Bride of Alinor" out of the setlist, though.

Also, it is endlessly tragic to me that there is a lute featured in the loading screen image for Sleek Creek House, but lute furnishings do not exist in game. Give us more musical instruments to prop up on stage or against walls, please! They don't even have to be interactable. Even just a basic lute would add so much more character to a tavern/pub build.

Totally agree! I love the concept of house guests. They make your homes feel a little more lived in, but they're still pretty limited (and expensive, given their limitations). Even if they only added 5-10 emotes to choose from, it would improve them significantly. Imagine if you had a house guest who could...

/cheer
/kneelpray
/salute
/eat
/point
/search

... just think of all the scenes you could create! I'd certainly buy more if they could do more than move from point A to point B and offer a few lines of dialogue.

It was a joke. I still get triggered when I hear it due to doing way too many writs in Alinor circa Summerset's release. :P

Did they move him? It has been a long time since I crafted in Alinor -- specifically because of Curtaros.

EDIT: ah, I should have read to the end of that thread back in the day. You can banish him to the delve! Too late, damage long since done, haha.

i don't always see Curtaros when i craft in Alinor. he's only there sometimes.

maybe it used to be worse?
i wouldn't know how it was before 2021. i only played for a week in 2018 before 2021.

Oh, it was SO bad. My usual routine was to log each of my alts in to do writs before actually playing the game, and my alts were always parked by the writ notice boards. So it looked like this:

1. Log in
2. "MY STAR-EYED BRIDE OF ALINOOOR..."
3. Complete writs through gritted teeth
4. Log out
5. Log in
6. "MY STAR-EYED BRIDE OF ALINOOOR..."
7. Complete writs through gritted teeth
8. Log out
9. Log in
10. "MY STAR-EYED BRIDE OF..."

You get the picture.

I eventually just muted the game while doing writs... but I knew he was still there, still singing that song. I used to see people spamming bash at Curtaros on occasion. I often joined in. He was more annoying than Stuga, by a factor of ten. So yes, ZOS, feel free to leave that one out of the setlist if bard house guests ever become a thing.

Or, alternatively, Curtaros target dummy!

I hardly understand why bards are still not there. They'd be bought like hell in the crown shop and everything is already there. They have bards in the game and they have house guest system. They just need to select a popular bard (I'd prefer the male bard in vivec city within one of the two pyramids - best singing voice in German localization) or a few, implement that bards sing not only in cities but also in players house and implement a "shut up" interaction.
