Based on past events and what's been on the PTS, perhaps this will help:

@msetten: I see no reason to expect double xp.

As for double tel var: The next event will be Whitestrike's Mayhem, unless things get changed from what happened on the PTS. (Also, as was pointed out: double containers from IC dailies will result in more tel var from that source.)

But mostly, I wanted to check about clarification on Glorious Reward Boxes. It looks like you can get up to 3 of them per day, right? One from each of the following sources:

• The first daily quest in Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, or Gold Coast, or the Maw of Lorkhaj weekly quest
• Final boss in Imperial City Prison, White Gold Tower, or Maelstrom Arena
• First Imperial City daily quest, Sweeper boss, or (possibly) Coldharbor Elite Guard

Possible box contents vary according to the source - if you get a style material from a box from Wrothgar, it'll be a style material you'd get from Wrothgar, for example. You want IC key fragments? Get a box from IC.

You get 2 tickets with your first gold (Glorious) box from any of those sources. (If it won't put you over cap. If it would, thanks to QoL improvements a few patches ago, you can spend some, and do something else later that would grant them, and still have a chance to get them.)

Is that an accurate synopsis, @ZOS_Kevin?

Also - would like to point out that there's not technically a delve or world boss daily in Hew's Bane. (Do "Rye's Reacquisitions" count this time?)

Usually the Thieves Guild "Tip Board" quests and the Dark Brotherhood "Contracts" don't count, because they are infinitely repeatable, so they aren't "daily" quests.

Does anyone remember if your character needs to have completed any preliminary quests in Hew’s Bain, Gold Coast, and Wrothgar before you can pick up the dailies? I haven’t done dailies in those areas for so long that I’ve forgotten.

i think for WB/delve dailies in hews bane/gold coast you dont need to do anything, they should be just available

black sacraments and heists definitely require doing at least some of the story quests before they become available

i dont remember about the hews bane daily guy (the one outside of the thieves guild)

for the maelstrom arena there is no pre-reqs, not sure about the wrothgar WB/delve dailies though i would suspect they removed any pre-reqs from those as well

I'm really excited for this event and EXTREMELY happy that they didn't split the tickets like they did for the Year One Celebration (which was 1 ticket from Crag/Wrothgar and 1 ticket from IC). I understand that the purpose was to try and get more players in IC, but for me, it just meant a 1-ticket per day event (and yes, I have done IC before for Whitestrake's, queuing up quests beforehand, but I just don't enjoy it enough to even bother for a non-PVP event).

So, I really appreciate that they created incentives other than tickets for players to sample all of the content if they wish. If they ever do the Year One Celebration again, I hope that's what they do, rather than splitting up the daily tickets.

I'm also happy to see TG/DB return for an event - it's been a while. And that we don't have to do heists or sacraments for rewards. Looking forward to finally trying out the updated regular rewards for doing the WB/delve dailies in DB and the Reacquisition quests in TG.

I'm also curious about the furnishing plans they listed, as there are no specific furnishing plans related to these zones. I could see having Orc plans drop in Wrothgar and Redguard plans in Hew's Bane, but there are no Imperial plans, so perhaps Leyawiin plans? Or maybe they created some new plans? Will be curious to see. Also, curious to see if HB maps actually drop, as I haven't seen one of those in years.

Finally - just saw that there is PATCH maintenance on PC just before the event starts tomorrow. Let's hope the patch doesn't introduce a bunch of issues that will cause further down time.

Thanks! I spoke to that guy at the entrance to the thieves guild den in Hew’s yesterday on an alt who hasn’t done the initial TG quest and he had no dailies to offer me. I think he gives the delve quests, IIRC? I can’t recall who gives the WB daily there.

Depending on what day it is, he offers either WB or Delve dailies. If you want, you can request for dailies to be shared in the zone chat.

Afaik you have to do "partners in crime" (first MQ) to unlock guild jobs and Rye's reacquisitions. To unlock heists you'll have to complete "cleaning house" (second MQ) beforehand.

I did not get the Event box from the Thieves Guild 'Idle Hands' Daily. I did it at the max level (3 cities of stealing).

Idle hands isn't a Daily. It's a normal (albeit repeatable) quest. You need to do either a heist, or talk to the NPC Spencer Rye located between the Thieve's Guild and the Cistern entrance.

there's a new outfit style called Bristleback Hunter and the Molag Bal illusion imp pet.

I just did the Wrothgar delve daily, and got the quest involving collecting eggs from Coldperch Cavern, and found that the eggs definitely aren't a shared resource. I kept trying to collect the eggs, only to get the message "someone else is using that". With my 400ms network ping, I can't really compete with the hordes of players doing the same quest. Day 1 of this event, and I'm already ready to skip it.

Also - there is a FREE ESO PLUS TRIAL!!

Not rumor, it's mentioned in the web page for the event, the house is Doomchar Plateau, which (I think?) was last offered around 2021. But there's a catch: it requires 5 fragments, each costing 10 tickets.

@vsrs_au The human foes in the cavern will drop the eggs too, just make sure to at least tag them so you get loot and you should be able to get the Unusual Eggs you need.

Yes, Doomchar Plateau (which was last available in 2021) is currently available again from Philius, the Impresario's assistant - if you didn't get it the first time. Which is great, for those who missed it!

But that's NOT the rumor I was referring to, that the Q2 morphable from the Illusion pet is going to be a house.

Q2 is NEXT quarter (April-June), not now, and the Illusion pet is this year's, so the rumored house would be a new one.

So I'm saying - if you don't care about the pet for its own sake, or for the current Q1 morphable (Planemeld Markings) - it still might be worth your while to get the pet for the next morph. Although you could get it during Whitestrake's Mayhem or Jester's Festival, if you don't care to spend your tickets on other things during those.

We'll know more in a few weeks when Anniversary comes out on the PTS.

the event article does not mention anything like that no.
you have a chance to get a style page from Glorious and Regular event boxes, however Regular event boxes have a smaller chance.

I wanted to use the event to level up some alts, so I can confirm that you must complete significant parts of the Main Story for the Thieves Guild to unlock the Hew's Bane Dailies that give you tickets, and it's the same for the Dark Brotherhood with the Gold Coast Dailies.

Both of them have Dailies that unlock almost immediately, but don't grant you tickets or count for the event.

You know what, I now realize that I probably should have put this here but I made a thread about it:

Please fix the daily quests so that they aren't a massive pain when large groups of people are trying to complete them during the event. Quest objectives for several of them desperately need to be instanced or have their relevant spawn rate increased.

You need to complete the first quest of Thieves Guild to unlock Spencer Rye. I got 2 event tickets and a Glorious Reward Box today from doing a daily quest from Spencer Rye.

You do not need to complete any Dark Brotherhood quests to unlock the Bounty Board in Kvatch. I got 2 event tickets and a Glorious Reward Box yesterday from doing a daily quest from the Kvatch Bounty Board.

This is incorrect: "This does not include fishing holes or crafting materials obtained from animals" (emphasis mine)

During the event I have repeatedly gotten extra drops from animals:

-Alchemy Reagents (Mudcrab Chitin x2, Beetle Scuttle x2)
-Furnishing Mats (Clean Pelt x2 from lionesses; Clean Pelt x1 and Decorative Wax x1 from the same mudcrab)
-Bait (Guts x2 from squirrels, Insect Parts x2 from nixads)
-Style Mats (Oxblood Fungus Spore x2 from minotaurs)
-Meats (Fish x2 from dreugh, White Meat x2 from daggerbacks, Red Meat x3+ from echaterre)
-Leather scraps (Rubedo Hide Scraps)
-Poison Solvents (Alkahest from trolls, minotaurs, dreugh)

Plentiful Harvest does not work on alchemy reagents, furnishing mats, bait, style mats, or meat, so getting double of those means it's definitely the event bonus at work. I have also confirmed these without PH slotted.

For leather scraps and poison solvents, Plentiful Harvest and the event bonus both apply, stacking multiplicatively. Without PH, I can get up to 4x Rubedo Hide Scraps and up to 6x Alkahest from a single mob during the event, twice the normal limits of 2x and 3x, respectively. With Plentiful Harvest I've gotten as much as 6x Rubedo Hide Scraps and 8x Alkahest from individual mobs. Theoretically the limit with PH during the event is 8x leather scraps and 12x Alkahest, but the chances of drawing those are very low, especially since those drops aren't guaranteed.

For the pearls one, write a message inviting people to group. Everyone shares credit and can loot the same corpses, so it takes about 20 seconds.

It could be improved, but people have been wasting time trying to do it solo and competing for loot instead of sharing it.

I've been doing nMA & vMA everyday since the event, I got 1 Maelstrom style page before the bug with the perfected weapons got hotfixed. So, after that I only did the vet version. Despite all my efforts of doing MA every day. I have not seen a single style page drop. I've gotten all the gold coffers each day and I only get crap, sometimes a zone motif, but veerrry rarely a event style page. And I don't personally care about the Bristleback Hunter style pages I only want the Maelstrom style pages. Yet despite all my efforts of doing MA every dang day during this event I have not seen a single page yet. I'm so frustrated.

vet should have been a garantleed drop, especially for an older style pages like the Maelstrom pages.
