My proposal is simple. Have the Endless Archives drop a ton of eyes. That quest that requires you to get 10 sheafs of paper always requires 2-6 runs to complete so I think it's fair to have it always drop a random plan of any color affected by the homemaker perk and like 40 glass eyes of mora. I also think that the tho'ats should drop increasing amounts for every arc you complete the boss of. Start with 5 for completing arc 1 boss, then 10 for 2, then 15 for 3 and 20 every next level of arc boss you complete.
you can find Glass Eye of Mora in the furnishing material container, you can purchase it for 2000 Archival Fortunes from Tezurs in the index
not guaranteed but a pretty good droprate
use mimic stones to generate them.

You have to know the style first, right? So, having to do vet Scrivener's repeatedly for a chance at those pages or buying one for 100k+? I guess it might be worth buying one for times when the market is low on eyes. Sadly the furnishings don't sell as well as they did a couple of months ago, to offset.
Or do you use the transmute station, also using transmute stones? (I'm not one of the types of players who's "drowning" in those.)
I was glad when I recognized that the containers can contain the glass eyes, but it still seems to me to be the most lucrative if you use mimic stones to generate them.

Is it possible to use mimic stones for furniture crafting? Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I've never noticed that there is an option to do this.

Do you have people to run with or is it that popular in dungeon queue / group finder? I've asked in guilds but it hasn't been possible (for me) to get a group that often and too much of a hassle to repeat-ask. I'd be ok with queue though.

When our availability aligns, I’d be happy to run it with you. I’ve only run it as a healer so far. I need further experience before I’d try tanking it.

on normal its not too bad, but you need someone moderately tanky for the 2nd boss which has a ramping dmg conal attack like earthen root final boss
companion tanks wont cut it for that because their AI doesnt know to block through it lol

It wouldn't be enough if it gave 10X the glass eyes you get from deconstructing the gear. And yes I have the perks and skills. TO make a house with this kind of furniture we are talking about hundreds of glass eyes. You get 0-3 from each run with the trend being towards that low end and when you do a full chest room at the end you are maybe getting an average of 7. This is not enough and is why they sell for so much. Not even close to enough. Also it requires us to run the dungeon which is a nightmare I don't want to face down even with a scheduled group because I HATE running any content over and over. I get burned out for a week after about 3-6 runs. They have made an apocrypha decorated house an impossibility for people like me.

I'd think you could get 1-3 Glass Eyes per run. Sometimes I explain that and run it as a farming group, especially for newish players who have some DPS gear and want gold.
Usually I just run a taunt and extra heals and a damage shield. Normal is tankable as a DPS in DPS gear with <25k health.
It is still a lot of time invested for not a lot of eyes, but at least the price can help convince people to do it.
Comparatively, if you get max 1 Glass Eye for the furnishing crate from the Archive that costs 2k Fortunes, I think Scrivener's Hall is way, way better, but I've never measured my Fortunes-per-minute on my Arc 5-8 runs.
