Did they nerf crow boss this year?

I feel like it was much harder to solo last year. Maybe im wrong. Whats y'all opinion?

there's a crow boss? im not into witches fest so i dont keep up with its goings on .

It did seem easier. Around I think 50% health is just stopped moving every time I fought it (4 characters so far). I don't remember that as being normal but maybe it is???

I feel like there were a lot more adds, and an absolute metric ton of poison aoes..

Hmm, maybe I should try it again? After I couldn't solo it the first year it was added to the event, I just stopped trying to solo it, and haven't done it with a group, either.

Haven't solo'd it this year but feels a lot easier. Crow fight may be bugged however, I haven't noticed any add-spawning gravestones this time around, and at one point the crow boss just stood in place like his AI had borked out or something. Maybe grouped dps was too much for it though.

I've duo-ed it since its inception, and it does feel a little easier this year. Fewer adds and poison clouds.
And the whole standing-still thing the Crowborne does after it takes a certain amount of damage (it doesn't seem to be a time thing, because it has happened at different durations into the fight for us [my mini-group]).

Last year had groups of mobs spawn from gravestones giving lots of targets to get in the way and whittle down one's health. This year it is just spiders running out in different directions from the cauldron. As a result, this year is easier so long as one avoids the spiders and keeps their health up. I have also noticed that by a certain point the crow boss stays in the same spot and lets you knock down their health without really putting up a fight.

Can't say whether they nerfed it or just decided to change how the boss fights. Perhaps both spiders and mobs were supposed to happen in the previous years and a tweak to fix went too far. Who knows for sure... *shrug*

But, yeah, it does seem easier.

It froze for me too at one point and i was solo.

Soloing it yesterday, after taking its health down to around 70%, the Crowborne Horror turned into a target dummy for me. Seems like its combat progression got broken at some point between the last two festivals.

Its bugged I think, rather than a deliberate nerf, but it gets stuck and doesn't spawn its gravestones and adds, instead it turns into a parse dummy at around 80%

I feel like the Crowborne Horror has lost the will to live. Smack it down to about 60% and it gives up.

Tried it again today and the boss does indeed go braindead after a certain %hp threshold so it would appear to be broken.

It is a dummy this year !! last year we had lot of adds everywhere, that came out from tombs and did lot of damage. This year it is easy, too much easy

Honestly, I wouldn't put up much of a fight either if I got murdered thousands of times a day for 2 weeks.

It’s obviously upset that it was left out of the Endless Archive as a random boss possibility so its heart is just not in it this year. 🐦‍⬛

the crow boss is bugged this year and basically stops doing anything after about 50-70% (its first invuln phase) lol

I've seen people comment the boss appears to be easier, though since I've been fighting him with groups, I didn't notice any difference.

On a different note, I first read this thread's topic as "did they nerf cross bow". I wonder if I should be concerned...

I wasn’t even aware there were adds. Numerous fights and I have not seen a single one.

No. Definitely not the Mandela effect. I uploaded a video a couple of years ago soloing this boss on a low level alt, so that I could hopefully counter the idea that it needed to be done only by Uber geared players and groups. Just because I wanted to help people who couldn't ignore the adds by showing them it could be done/how I did it.

Thanks to that, I happen to have a video of what the fight used to look like before it got nerfed.

I relate to this. Im very dyslexic. I edit my posts like 5x for grammer or spelling it takes me 20 mins to write a short post.

It is bugged, but there's no point in fixing it since he event is over in a few days. I'm just surprised that no one at ZOS tested this before the event went live.
