With respect, I'd like to remind the teams that there is a number of players who are having trouble feeling the desire to log in because of the gamebreaking bugs currently affecting overland questing. The article tells us that "Whether you’re logging in to continue your journey into the Telvanni Peninsula or simply turning in those all-important writs," but it seems like daily writs are the only things some players can do at the moment.
Between the fact that many Quest NPC voices have been accidentally deactivated and the fact that some players are hit with a bug that prevents them from doing any questing whatsoever, in any zone, it's extremely hard to get excited to log in and see all the things we could be doing but can't because of a figuratively or literally gamebreaking bug.
At least we know the voiced dialogue (which is a thing that sets ESO apart from other MMOs) will be returned in the next patch, but that's not scheduled until the release of Update 39 at the end of the month. Players with broken quest states all over the world still have no news on when, or even if, they'll be able to quest again with their mains.
I would ask the teams to consider giving us a patch before Update 39 to try to address these bugs. A month (or over a month, in the Quest Status bug case) is far too long a time for zone questing to be fundamentally broken. So many players want to log in and continue (or start) their adventures in the Telvanni Peninsula, but we can't and don't know when we'll be able to. And unfortunately, an experience scroll is not going to be impressive when your problem is that you can't play anything in the first place.
