CE treasure maps work that way and here's the reason:I think Necrom has messed up other drops, also. The 2 Necrom CE treasure maps I used had barely anything in them worth keeping, hardly "treasure" at all.

We want players to be on an equal footing when it comes to their ability to acquire gear and power, regardless of their purchases. The CE Treasure Maps are intended for new players, who’ve only just begun the game: they provide a few non-set items to help an under-geared player be sure they have some non-white items to equip. From there, we encourage players to obtain higher-quality items, and set items, by playing the game.
Hate to admit it, but sometimes I do that with thieves troves. If there is nothing interesting inside, I just take the gold and leave the rest.

So the conditions for CE maps have changed without any mention in any patch notes.(...) So either I'm just VERY lucky, or the above statement is no longer true (...)

I'd be happy enough with a rune-only Psijic portal if it contained a Hakeijo! I got a Hakeijo twice before from a portal, but the drop rate is almost 0.MafiaCat115 wrote: »I've noticed a lot of rune-only portals in the Necrom zones, too

Lot's of new toons that haven't upgraded their backpack/mount's carrying capacity yet so inventory space still limited?
