Card Conjurer&Memories of the Spearhead achievemens

I'm trying to reach these achievements and ran into a problem - played a lot of matches with NPCs, and players, looted a lot of purses and didn't get any.

Do you know how to get these things?

Just wanted to confirm I got one from the purple PvE-daily box. Nothing from greens so far.

Well, I've played sooo many matches (I've been doing daily quests on three characters since adding this achievement), I got a lot of purple and gold boxes and this is what I have now

Plus, I can say that the drop chance of style pages has become significantly less.
Today, one part dropped from the green box for the match with NPC, so it also drops from them, but in general the chances are just monstrously low - even rarely drop from gold boxes. Disgusting.

I suffer from the same problem! Playing ToT on 4 chars for the daylies and got ( heavy cards and 5 Scraps of the Spearhead0s Colours yet.

I hate playing ToT from the bottom of my heart and it really sucks that ZOS gives us new ToT achievements apart from the upgrade card one.

The drop chances are simply to low. That needs to get buffed asap.

YES! I didn't hate this game. I even liked it a bit. But then they added these achievements, so if you want to get them - live in ToT, or do quests every day mb a year with such chances lol. THANKS ZOS. I play ToT now just to get ach and hate this game so much. Amazing.

I've gotten fragments for the Card Conjuring achievement from the NPC matches, but I don't remember if it was only from the purple purse from Kishka or from the individual NPC purses as well.

I haven't seen any fragments for the other achievement yet.

Drop rates are too low for these fragments or i am just way way too unlucky. I wish they were tradable so i could buy them from others.

I think the gold boxes should at least guarantee you one if you have not recieved one yet for the day maybe in my opinion.

the fragments are definitely too low, i havent even seen any of these drop yet and ive been mostly doing the npc tribute daily

When you say "both" - do you mean "both" dailies? And dailies only? (I know, each daily has up to 3 matches each, one with 3 npcs, one with 3 players) or do random matches beyond the dailies ( and their specific coffers) count as chances? And by random I mean matches beyond the dailies, which also reward coffers in the mail. Thank you.

Drop rates for these fragments are aggressively low. I've gone through 100+ dailies of 3 NPC wins each as well as 84 recorded NPC wins in addition to that and just now unlocked Captain Kaleen. I still need 1 more heavily played tribute card for the other achievement.

Conclusion: The intended number of NPC wins to unlock both of these achievements is somewhere close to 400 NPC wins, depending on how many daily coffers you get in addition to your mail.

If anyone else has other data to add to this, let me know. It's possible I'm missing some obvious way to get these faster.

Side note, after those 400 npc wins, I'm still looking for my 3rd copy of the Inkwood Box for the Music Box antiquity codex.

It’s RNG based, some of us will be lucky and some of us won’t be. It’s like everything else in this game. You either got luck or you don’t. They drop from all colour ‘reward’ boxes not white loss boxes of course. Took me 3 days of dailies with about 30 pvp matches total to get my fragments. So for those with little to none in fragments I feel sorry for you.

i still havent even seen one of these fragments drop yet, for either achievement lol

granted i dont do tribute dailies every day but i usually do at least 1-2 a week (i was doing them a lot more around when necrom released)

They had a pretty decent drop chance from gold Marunji boxes, sometimes purple ones had them too. Took me a little over a week of doing his daily quest every day, sometimes on 2 or 3 alts. The last scrap took the longest to drop, had to open 6 gold boxes for it. The emote fragments seemed to drop significantly less often, but they will probably have a higher chance once you complete Cpt. Kaleen and the scraps no longer drop (at least, I assume they don't).

It doesn't matter how you got the coffer - NPC or PvP match. The chance depends only from purse's quality. The highest drop chance is from the golden boxes which can be looted only from the daily quest with 3 PvP wins. You also can get it from purple, blue and green boxes. However, the lower the quality of the box, the lower the drop rate.

The fastest and not so painful (if you hate pvp, but you want a golden box) way to get the achievements is to take a character (I took 3 - it's faster), take both daily quests on them, do a full pve quest every day, and also complete one random match with a player - you only need one win to get a purple box, as well as to make progress on the quest.
This way you do not spend too much time every day on pvp dailies, loot 2 purple boxes on one character (for a random pvp match and for a pve daily) and once every 3 days you get a golden box and also you will still have a little time for real life heh.

You should all be abusing the broken RNG in Elder Scrolls Online.

Always open a number of coffers at the same time. The container opener add on can help.

Eventually you will be seeded to get these fragments and, when you are, you will pull a whole bunch because of the games issue in resetting seeds quickly between drops.

Yesterday I completed my Card Conjurer with 4 pulls from 16 boxes.

Are you serious? And it works for any drops in general in coffers like leads too? I'm desperate so I'll try lmao

Thank you very much. I do not hate pvp and I usually play until I get two gold boxes, but what with this entire havoc on these drops I just wanted to be sure where to focus on best! So much appreciated the detailed response! Very insightful indeed!

Last week I finally got both of these on PC EU. Unfortunately for me, PC EU is really my "alt server"! I'm still slowwwly creeping toward these two achievements on PC NA.
