Actually did brighten the image beforehand in Gimp. You could try fiddling with your monitor's Contrast/Brightness settings or presets.

I don't like how this character looks since vampirism turned him purple, but I was in the Vile Manse today and saw this photo opportunity so took it!

So here is my Redguard, Taybeh, seeking knowledge from Hermaeus Mora in some extreme act of desperation. He normally wouldn't do something like this or grovel so hard but I couldn't let a candle circle in front of the Daedric Prince he finds the most intriguing go to waste - it was just too perfect.

Remember kids, summoning Daedra is a really bad idea! Don't try this at home!

you are right then, sorry. I was watching it at work, there the monitor must be somehow wrongly calibrated . now i see it ok
