By the way, does anyone know if any mirrors in ESO actually reflect?
Not only do none of the mirrors actually reflect, but there are also Vampiric Mirrors in the game, which is interesting since Vampires can't see their own reflections. You could draw obscene things on a Vampires face and they would never know if nobody told them...

The Alinor Crest Townhouse comes with an Alinor Mirror if it's bought furnished. No idea if it's bound or not. I believe there's also a mirror that comes from pickpocketing nobles in Summerset, but I don't remember which one. It's not listed on the Wiki but it does drop from them, I think.
Edit: Found this in my favorites info.Silverpudel wrote: »It is piclpocket abel i got the mirrow from a nobel and my friend

They are pickpocket loot from Summerset nobles.

Would already help a lot if anyone could confirm the existence of those drop lists in other collectors books so i can try to get one of those on ebay.
Incidentally, there are ESO housing groups on Facebook (and probably other platforms) that keep lists of rare furnishings and their drop locations. If you are interested in such things, I would recommend looking into some. I know I personally have learned a lot from them, and they have a lot of housing tours, displays, and pictorials as well.

I believe the book you are looking for is called "The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset: Official Collector's Edition Guide." And if I recall correctly, during the Summerset PTS the new furnishings all had "High Elf" in the title, but partway through they changed everything to "Alinor" to avoid the new items being confused with old world High Elf furnishings. The hard copy books and reference guides had already been printed, so they were not changed and re-released. Also, some of those items listed in that photo have never been found, and likely didn't make it to release as printed.

Hmm, very strange. Whats the point in listening those items as a drop in a collectors edition book and then they are not available? I found the items on Eso Hub tho.
Also i havent found any Clothier Artisans on Summersend so far and ive looked through all the 3 cities on it. Found a blacksmither but no Clothier. Probably thats why no one ever found it? Very sad tho its like that Or did Clothier got patched out and were replaced by just normal Artisans? Can anyone from ZOS/Bethesda make a statement to this topic/especially these items in the book? @ZOS_Hadeostry ? Also i would love to have a look into those groups, you may link them here @Jaraal ?

You can buy those runners from the Housing Editor purchase tab, but they are not listed on TTC, so none have ever been sold. That means that they either don't drop, or are the rarest item in the game, if none have been sold in all the years since Summerset dropped.
Also, there are Artisans in Summerset, and they do drop furnishing plans.

That would be highly unusual for them to stealth remove a furnishing from the loot pool. I'm not aware of any precedent for that... or why they would do it.

Forgetting the whole Skooma Bubbler debacle? The original drop location was inside of a specific quest in a DLC zone and could only be accessed by characters who were at a certain stage of the Thieves Guild quest line. Once you passed that quest, you could only access with a different character. That caused a big outcry, so ZOS moved the drop location out of the quest and added it to Drunkards all over Tamriel which is what they should have done in the first place.
Yes, but they didn't remove the item/plan, and they announced that they were nerfing the quest farm in advance. If they moved the Alinor mirrors to another location, someone would have found them by now. They may have reduced the drop rate, because the mirrors are rarely sold these days. And, to be fair, a lot fewer people steal in Summerset than when the DLC first dropped.
One of the mirrors was available for tickets during the Summerset event, and they can be purchased in the housing editor store. But there's no logical reason they would just remove them from the loot pool.
@ZOS_Kevin , can you ask your team if they removed the three Alinor Wall mirrors from the drop tables? Perhaps by accident, when they added one to the Impresario? Or was that a planned move to encourage ticket sales?

ElderOfTamriel wrote: »Whats about the "Alinor Writing Desk, Noble" plan which is supposed to drop from woodworking artisans on summerset?
According to UESP there is no woodworker located on summerset.

Did they patch that out and put it in the writ voucher containers from Rollis?

This plan drops from Artisan NPCs and you can find one at the bottom right of the Alinor city map. You will see a path heading south and ending in a circle. I farmed that NPC and managed to pull well over a dozen maps which I sold for a tidy profit back when Summerset released.
ElderOfTamriel wrote: »Got insanely lucky today and was able to pickpocket not 1 but 2 of the Alinor Pew plans right after i laundred the 1st one and went back to farming
I've also looted this plan from a "Healer" NPC.
ElderOfTamriel wrote: »Hmm, ive just read some interesting facts about pickpocketing:
1.) You will get better chances on better loot the lower the % of a successful theft are. Means, youll likely get better drops on 2nd and 3rd pickpocket attempt. (best chances for good drops on thieves, assassins, guards, nobles, and mages since % are the "worst" there)
2.) You will get better drops when increasing youre Legerdemain (Thieves Guild) skill line.
Are these true? So i should probably get my Thieves Guild to lvl20 before i try any longer to get one of the Alinor Mirrors? Im only lvl10 so far. Also i have no clue if that only counts for the common pickpocketable items or aswell for plans/furnishing drops.

The first one is false. NPCs with lower chance of success have better loot overall, but their drops are not weighted from least valuable to most valuable as you pick. Many times you will get the best item on the first pick, and trash on the last. And vise versa.
Yes, you will get better quality loot at a higher rate the higher your Legerdemain skill is. And there's a CP passive that also increases the value of pickpocketed items. But the Thieves Guild skill line has no effect on loot quality. It only affects how many items you can sell/launder, how much gold you get for them, and helps you to get caught less and pay less bounty.
