But the real test will be large group pvp in Gray Host wont it?

It was probably that. Today it's normal again. It returned to the usual 100 ping.

My ping has not changed; it's still 280-320-ish.

Despite degrading performance as always after 2h dungeon session I'd say it feels better, all la's are registering and if you're pressed the skill it will go off eventually. So yeah more on par with what NA had forever no matter high ping, just snappier feel.
