Repeatedly login issue because of unknown IP address

I wonder if I'm the only one with this problem or if there are others: When ESO starts up, the message appears that the IP address must be confirmed and that I will receive an access code.
Only to me that code does not arrive (not even after waiting 10 minutes as stated in the FAQ).

What do you do to log in or do you receive that email?

    Manually type in your password, I had a friend who was trying to login and the saved password was actually incorrect and she waited and waited for a login access code that never came.

    It never had anything to do with her login IP.

    That bug has been more frequent for me recently.

    I just retry the log-in and I'm usually fine.

    I rebooted and tried to log on again and was fine.

    Yeah that I have been doing all the past 2 weeks and it worked fine before. (you can also log in with the help of the launcher instead of the client). Yesterday everything failed and i had to reset password. The other suggestion from the FAQ is to get a new email address but I prefer not too.

    There's actually several threads on this. Been going on for 2 weeks. Hopefully the devs are looking into it. ONly work around I've found is using the steam version of ESO

    In my experience it gave me that message when I tried to use my forum password by accident instead of my game password. A weird message to get for that.

    There was a thread on this yesterday. The thread suggested you never get an access code and you just misstyped your password. The message the server is giving for wrong password is the wrong one. At least that is what the thread said.

    There have been numerous threads on this. It is really confusing a lot of people apparently.

    I have received this message on two occasions, both times I finally realised the fault was on my part.

    First time I was using the password for my other account on my main account, took me a few attempts to realise my mistake, got the message each attempt but no access code, it allowed me to close the message and try again each time.

    Second time and this one still makes me go "Doh!!" I had misspelled my Username, never done that before, took me waaay to long to notice.

    So there does seem to be some link with mistakes on login page and getting that message. 🤔
