How often ESO crashes on your PC?

I still get the logging out crash, though less often since u35 but still once a day (logging out between 10 characters to do writs, etc.). It used to be several times a day, but now down to about one:)

More than 3 times a day

As a primarily PvP player frequent crashing is just part of the game, especially during prime time. Sometimes we will crash 5 times in a row just trying to get to and participate in a big fight, just to crash and try to relog 5-8 times just to get back into the game.

In solo play it maybe crashes once every few months.

In group play I'd say I hit some issue that at least sends me to the login screen once every ten hours or so of play with some patches being worse than others.

Maybe once or twice a week in Cyrodiil and only when there are way too many zergs on screen.

It has happened, but I think it’s rarer than even 1 time a month. The firsts years of Eso were much worse though.

My PC was pretty good in 2014, now it's ageing, but ESO still runs smoothly and without crashes. I use around 15 addons and their libraries, the only crash issues I had since beta were addon-related.

Edit: while the computer itself does not crash, sometimes ESO disconnects ("lost lobby connection" or something like that). But that is a network issue, not something due to ESO as far as I can tell.

Anyone who is crashing 3x a day needs to wipe their machine and clean install. It's not the game at that point, it's your box. I've had my current system for 2.5 years and ESO has not crashed once. I've had connection issues sure, but the actual executable has not crashed. If you are seeing that frequency of crashes, wipe your machine or check your hardware because there is something wrong

No, it's the ZOS servers that can't handle high APM players or the big fights in end game trials and PvP. It's nothing to do with the players equipment. This is well documented for years now.

I chose never because it hasn't done crashed for ages EXCEPT downloading the last update. I ran out of space but it only told me the third attempt. Then it would only download with Steam. Then it wouldn't download even though there was space. Complete uninstall and reinstall worked.
No problems apart from that except problems with old hardware.

Not counting PC launch, I can't remember the last time the game crashed on me. On the other hand disconnects happen sometimes but not too often. But lag... Lag happens all the time, and just gets worse later in the evening.

Starting in late 21 I would crash fairly often whenever I was in intense combat. The number would vary..from once in a dungeon to maybe 3 times.
Sometimes I could go through several dungeons and not crash.
Shortly after update 35 showed up on the pts my combat crashing stopped.
Now I will get several crashes when I'm attempting to log in.

I voted at least once a week because it's the closest option to reality, as I experience crashes more often, but not once a day. Often the problem happens when I quit the game, but also very often it crashes when I'm doing something mundane like standing around or decorating. I can understand crashes during fights with many players, monsters and effects, but I can't see why in blazes it happens so many times while I'm organizing my inventory.

Maybe I shouldn't underestimate the seriousness of inventory management.

1-3 times a day, sometimes more but never less.
Alt tabbing (Win+Tab or Alt+Tab) is by far the main cause of these crashes. I observed a higher frequency while HDR was ON in Win10 but disabling it did not stop completely the crashes.

I have one house, Ald Velothi, that when left caused the game to crash systematically (even with all add-ons OFF) though it is more random lately.

The crashes sometimes are perceived by the game hence a submit form pops but most of the time the game window just closes with a return to desktop while the process still run and has to be ended in the Task Manager or the screen becomes black and the only way to interact with the PC is to summon the Task Manager.

Sometimes I get a log-in error and have to enter the password a second time, or the rare disconnect, but rarely get a solid crash that I can remember.

You need an option for only crashed once in the lifetime that I've played the game. That's all, a single time, but that doesn't fit any of your options.

the game itself didnt crash in a year or so, but when i close ESO, it crashes my Explorer.exe on Win7.

The crashes are almost always in PVP and it has gotten more stable over time.

It used to be very infrequent, maybe once a month at most.

Recently it's been happening more, but that's purely because of the drive ESO is installed on, which is damaged and keeps throwing up odd errors. Even though it was physical damage I'm not quite to the point of admitting defeat and keep trying various "fixes" I find online hoping something will finally sort it, but I suspect I'll have to buy a new one.

When I use the backup copy installed on another drive it doesn't crash at all.

The hard crash to desktop has stopped. It was.pretty bad , sometimes it would crash when I tried to change toons. I still.have a decent amount of disconnects. The internet will be fine, game just stops responding. I can always move around but no.bar swap then a error has occurred message.
