Error 301

Every time I try to log in it gives me this error code of 301. I have tried to repair and still the same error code.

Please reinstate the ques that we had at times in beta until this is resolved.

For a while there it was giving me the error of not my region and then it stopped and I am back again to the 301.

I never had any problems during beta with log ins. But now I seem to have all sorts of problems. I have had the error that to many trying to log on, then wrong mass server which I never changed, to finally that I did not have early access. I have been trying to log on for 2 hours now and still can't get past putting in my name and PW.

I have the same problem, bothers the *** outta me.
Can we get this fixed please, we paid money for this.

I havent been able to log in at all because of the 301 code.

Well today is a weird day. i got on and was doing fine. Then I go to Ash Mountain and defeat Balreth then it bugs out I can't leave. I tried reload ui nothing. Then I tried the /stuck that just killed me and gave me durability loss. I re-logged twice and after a while on the second re-log Balreth came back and I had no way to storm him while it still said to leave Ash mountain. So now he is unkillable. So I decide to just re-log, but can't log out in combat so I quit and I am now back at the error code 301.

This error is occurring due to the large volume of logins. The issue should be resolved relatively soon. We recommend attempting to log in to the game again after a period of around 10 minutes. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the 3 day early access has just started so there are many players attempting to log in.

I wish it was that easy. Logging on every 10 minutes doesnt work because I get the same code. 301 301 301 301 301...for 6 hours straight and every attempt after. Mean while my buddy gets home and logs on..time after time after time. No 301 code for him. I havent been able to log on to the game ever. Ive sent requested reports.. sent in a request for a call back....been waiting for that call for two days. Emails etc. This sucks.. how about sharing a call in number for customer service?

I received the 301 error after killing the first skeleton in the Prison sequence. I used a power strike with my sword and when it died, I was dumped from the game with a 301 error. Is this for the same reason as the login issue the other posters have mentioned?

Yeah 301 is log in error when to many try to log in at the same time.

I guess but then to many people are logging in 24 hours a day. It doesnt matter what time of day, night....whatever I cant log in 301 301 301...

They are working on the server. The beta test and post beta test were t see how well things played and to test login capacity as far as I understood. And the actual number of people who bought the game and logged in for the early 5 days has exceeded that capacity, so they are working on it.

Working on it or not... Its doesnt work and I paid for a service/product that doesnt work as advertised. I still cant log on. Its been 24 hours since my last email and still no response. Its been 3 days since I requested a call back... That is horrible costumer service any way you try and slice it. I understand that a launch can be difficult, I was there for WOW....and the worse launch of all, UO Age of Shadows but at least with those two companies they replied in a more timely manner.

I don't seem to have any problem logging in. Perhaps the problem is with your computer settings, your computer (does it have the basic needs for the game), or your internet connection.

Four straight days and nothing. 301.......really tired of trying, wonder if it is worth it. and yes I tried opening ports, reinstalling, email support, etc. If this is because of heavy traffic you would think that by "dumb" luck I would have managed to log on once or twice.

After trying to play with excessive lag and and getting kicked out of the game with uncountable unknown error messages I finally got a few good sessions but now I can't log in because of 301 error.

Not thinking "the game has turned out to be more popular than they thought it would be", etc is a very good defense. Kind of thinking the number of people who pre-ordered would have been an excellent clue. Exactly how many of the people who shelled out $60 were they thinking weren't going to play?
