HA Builds Still Good?

So I saw in a different forum thread that a Dev posted on Skinny Cheek's discord about Empower, and that it's going to be changed so it only effects fully charged heavy attacks. Would this kill off most of the hype for heavy attack builds, or will they still be viable next patch?

Who knows. Depends on how it's implemented. I'm hoping at least lightning is an exception to the rule as medium weaves aren't a problem there.

If it's around a 120% buff to strictly fully-charged HAs then yes, HA builds will definitely still be viable. If it's just 80% then no, HA builds will actually end up weaker than they currently are on Live.

Either way they need to nerf Resto because the majority of it's HA damage is in the final pulse.

So if Resto isn't nerfed, then HA builds will only be viable with Resto then.

The other staffs will still be viable. Resto will be the highest base damage, but you'll be missing all the destro staff passives.
