I try to log in and claim the night before. However, RL had me in another state far from my PC, Being on the road for 6 hours (3 to go and 3 to come back), getting home after midnight and being utterly exhausted, I didn't. Oh the regrets of being so tired that I couldn't even be bothered to log in and sit through the load screens.

TomorrowPM EDT.

As much as I don't like not being able to play the game, the maintenance people gotta do what the maintenance people gotta do so that the game runs smoothly the rest of the time. So, I sit out waiting until the game comes along, and I realize that getting upset doesn't get me or anyone anywhere.

um, it began at night . . .

Honestly not defending ZOS here at all, but as a vet of Burning Crusade-era WOW and SWG, I'm the sort of person who never visits game forums except on maintenance days - and maintenance days are hilarious on forums. No variation, for nearly 15 years it's been "we demand compensation for downtime" or some such on MMO maintenance day.
That said, yeah, the non-communication by ZOS is a real problem. If I recall correctly, Blizzard was pretty good about updating the ongoing problems if maintenance went much past what was announced (it's been a long time, maybe my memory is selective on that).
Come on ZOS, just a quick "We're working on it" would be something, no?

I'm running out of stuff to do here. I started off the day by cleaning out the garage, taking a few boxes of stuff to Goodwill, cleaning out my car then running through the carwash. Then I came home and thought I would log on early, but nope.
So I placed an online order with the BBB, waited for it to be ready, went and picked it up and pulled into the JJ that was close by and picked up some lunch. Came home, put my new fan together, tested it out, then sat down with my Turkey Tom and a cold drink and was ready to play. So here I am instead.
Any word on what the delay is?
In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth, on the seventh day he waited for the eso servers to come back online.
