Cannot swap/unequip Companion's right ring

The Companion's right ring (in the UI) cannot be unequipped nor swapped out. I tried by double-clicking it, using drag and drop, right-click -which does not provide a contextual menu-, swapping left and right rings. Nothing work.

EDIT: Dismissing the companion and bring him back again did the trick.

I have the same issue and doing this does not solve the problem. Right-clicking the item does not show an option to unequip it, and you cannot drag it out to your inventory.

I've heard several people claim this in several threads that keep getting scattered. Some suggested a /reloadui fixed the problem, or that it might be an addon issue.

However, dragging the ring should still work, or dragging a new ring over to replace the one in question.
