Champion system once I figured out how to get my damage similarly back to where it was before turned out to be very interesting. I kinda like it!

The armor changes though.... Just... I don't know why light armor deserves to take more damage for a damage type it pretty much already has no defense against.

I'd feel better about it if they gave people a higher baseline level CP if they had already achieved 810. The people falling in between 810 and somewhere around 1200 are pretty much getting hosed.

I'm at 1300 and can slot the stuff I need to to reach the designed 15% nerf, but I lose some resistances relative to what I had before, which is compensated with higher health.

Note: that 15% is based on using the same gear setup I used in U29. I parsed 89K on my magplar, now I'm at 77K. I'm messing with gear and switching CP around to see what helps.

Far as I’m concerned this was just a Whole lotta Lotta just to be in the same place. Spread CP out n around to increase the Amount of CP...but did it Change/Improve anything? Can’t say it did

I really don't like the new axes passive. I loved the bleed damage and I don't get why it was changed. Nerf, ok, if there's no other way, but why delete it? My bleeding sets lost something important and I don't like critical hit chances.

The champion system is new. It will take some time until I figure out my personal perfect build, but I will give it a try.

Between this and 'meh, I don't care' but leaning towards hating it.
Especially the CP rework, just MORE micromanaging and I am even more behind at CP300 (i was already in a weak spot, now it's even worse)
    Hoping for more playable races

Very tired. Even though the curve has been adjusted it seems to take just as long to farm a CP because it is taking me longer to kill and I swear the xp per kill at my favorite farm spots has been reduced. May be just me though. lol

I agree with this. It's a weird change to be certain.

I'm only 859 so I feel like it too- hosed. No matter how many points in Warfare I place there are big empty stars that can't adjust. After two tries my penetration remains at zero for both physical and magika. Any hint at how I can learn to not feel that all of the champion points are not being wasted to arrive at the trees that give nothing at all?

Amazing. The whole thing got less confusing with buying buffs for CP instead of old "calculate the ideal number of each CP before diminishing return kicks in" nightmare.

Let's be extremely precise in our use of terms.

I haven't really had a chance to explore the CP system yet, so I have no thoughts on that yet.

On paper, I am very upset by the new heavy armor punishment. PVE tanks are literally being punished for doing our job, with cost increases to roll dodge, and additional magic damage being taken. I will have to see how it actually plays out in practice, but on paper I am very unhappy with how tanks are being treated.

Every character should have a free rework that is not time limited. I have 22 characters and have absolutely no intention of spending hours of my time to make the changes by the deadline.

I don't know what benefits the new system will provide, hopefully it will mean that progression will continue past the barrier that existed in the old system

I´m playing since beta with longer or shorter pause, so I´m only 600CP, as an altoholic and levelingguy I´ve spend so much time not playing my max lvl chars, so now I´m feeling like kicked in the balls hard.
New CP system made me cry and not wanna play, I feel I have to farm sooooo much CPs to be competitive again. Lost too much pasives. Now I have like three or four perks in every of those stupidly renamed CP trees, and too many left...
After spending my CPs on my fresh lvl 17 necro with heavy help on internet (Alcast, Hack, Xynode atc) I felt exhausted, cannot even distributed skillpoints again. Next nine chars only visited stablemasters, and only on my main I redistributed skillpoints and it´s weired because now I have only 6 CPs free and have woodworking left to fill with couple of ultimates. I don´t know, hate to go respec again.
Storywise I´m in Morrowind with my 29 mag DK, Elsweyr with 17lvl magcro, Greymoore with my main magsorc, Summerset with my main alt magplar and farming stuff with my lastly leveled stamden.
I remember when I quit like 2 months after Morrowind release, because two months before I´ve made quite serious attempt to enjoy PvP, craft and buy like five different proc sets for my stamblade and they nerf it with Morrowind to the ground. Sad panda.
I feel I´m too old to these groundbreaking changes. In my 40 I have newborn kid, because of *** covid I´m working overtime, 12-24hrs every second day, with one day off and I don´t even have time to relax and sleep well, not mentioned to play game I know and love...
Now I´m feeling like I came back home after work and found a person in my house, somehow looking like my wife, but acting and talking like someone else, the way I don ´t understand and I don´t feel comfortable near her.

There's a "mixed feelings" button missing.

I quite like the CP rework - except the Green tree. That one's seriously insulting.
I find some of the skill changes okay, others very unnecessary. Armour penalties - just slap them onto Battle Spirit already...

Craft constellation is a square peg in round hole and the armor thing is bit silly. Plenty of opportunies for future convulsive changes everyone expects from this game. Business as usual.

I honestly am indifferent. At first I was confused about the changes, but now I don't really care. My characters aren't built for maximum impact anyway, so let's just get it over with so I can get back to playing.

I hate the champion rework. I preferred CP PVP, but now since I'm not at max (950 cp), it basically turned me into cannon fodder. So yeah, thats just great, glad nocp exists I guess.

    Skill Lines Changes
    - Love the change to major gallop!
    - Regarding armor, I like some of the changes, including some of the effects to speed, detection and stamina use, so long as they make sense. Armor making you MORE susceptible to damage types does not make sense to me, unless it were fall damage, but that would be needlessly punitive and has little to do with combat. So overall, not sure yet.
    - Other changes, no strong opinion.

    Racial Changes
    - Overall doesn’t appear to be anything so major so I’m not sure why so many are getting upset about it, but then I’m not a min-maxer so maybe I just don’t see it.
    - I do wish that Redguards had been buffed and maybe Argonians needed more too. I’m pleased with some of the changes to Bosmer although any resistance to disease or poison seems unnecessary to me and I really do wish that stupid detection bonus would be dropped and Bosmer got their rightful place back as one of the two stealthiest races.

    Champion Points
    - A bit overwhelming, but that is to be expected!
    - I have no idea about the relative balance and power of various bonuses in the red and blue constellations so I’ll leave others to comment on that. I feel like I have a good array of options but also that, at CP 787 I’ve gone from being nearly optimized to bottom of the barrel again but that’s okay.
    - The green constellation has some good points and some frustrations. For one, there are not a lot of options and most have to be slotted, which seems strange to me since this is the horizontal progression tree. Master Gather (speed$ especially I feel should be a passive. Secondly, for what may be the most diverse constellation, it feels the most restrictive as there are more things I MUST unlock to get to what I really want and they have a tendency to cost more than “unlock gates” in the other trees and to be slottable. I would rather not buy any slottable I don’t intend to use on a character while there are still other things I’d rather spend points on! The last thing my master crafter needs is Inspiration Boost but going another direction, I’d be forced to take Treasure Hunter, which would be welcome except that my priorities were on disassembly, gathering and want to try the furnishing motif passive, to give an example.

It's too early for me to give a proper assessment.I managed to CP and skill up 2 characters in my time available. My main I tried out and still seems fairly decent. My vampire I think I might have borked up the CP tree just based on looking at her stats because I didn't have time to go fight to try her out. I have 12 other characters to go.

The armor skill changes I think can become good but need some adjustments. Not gonna touch much beyond that with the skill changes...

As for the new champion system? I personally love it. It allows for more interesting builds and it feels a lot less required now since a lot of things went from the champion system into base kit of every character, which is great.

Also, side note, the Blade of Woe is legit viable for combat now and I am thinking about trying out a set. Cause wasn't there a set related to the Blade of Woe? I forgot what it does because the ability itself is basically useless but due to the new champion perk for it... It can be used effectively now against humanoid enemies and want to mess around with it some more in depth.
