There's no excuse for all of this crashing in this day and age.

It's different people every instance all the time since the last update. I just crashed in Cloudrest, again, and had lots of time at "Account already logged in" to come post about something I haven't seen in an MMO in years. This is ridic. I got updated drivers, updated addons, reset modem - everything CS wanted. Crash reliably every instance doesn't matter where. Other people crash on the way in. This is mind boggling in 2020.

Im with you. Games should get better in time. While eso did add some great stuff like antiquities, psyjic skill line they dropped the ball on the majority of other things. It takes 6 crashes to finish a dungeon these days. Its just unacceptable.

All things considered, my issues have been "mild" compared to what others are going through. I get at least one guaranteed CTD/Blue Screen daily, this new weird freeze where an "electronic noise" comes out of my TV speakers but the game eventually resumes, weird stutters and just awful lag spikes that are completely random (did a Harrowstorm and it was smooth as butter, five minutes later Hordrek and crew were a lag fest)...BTW all of this is overland PvE, no dungeons or trials or PvP.

As seen above, there are people who can't even log in. Or can't play longer than 10 minutes without a crash. I can deal with my issues, at least I can still play for the majority of it. You don't just "deal" with an unusable account.

    Thanks

I did a safemode startup, rebuild database option, & I'm back in. Crashed one time already (20m +/-), but I was able to get in.

Been playing ESO on PC since beta and the game never crashes for me. May have crashed one time in 2 months perhaps but never repeatedly without a good reason. I've been running ESO on different computers throughout the years. On a couple of different intel PC builds. No problems here

Could it be an AMD driver problem thing?

Does ZOS have a way to (auto)collect a players PC specs and crash report information so they can actually improve upon that information?
    The simple one.

Crashing mostly happens in group dungeons, some bosses like the lich in fang lair causes crashes. The last boss in spindelclush 1 causes people to freeze having to log out.

But also others, I crashed in vCoA2 in an trash fight, healer on last boss. twice in fang lair on the animal boss and on the lich.

On forum you get lots of others, eso never crached for before this update

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It is incredible sad to see ZoS, that you make us wait for 2 weeks for nothing
Basic bugs like crashes on the 3rd boss in Fang Lair and not being able to complete the world boss in The Reach are not solved. Did you need 2 weeks for solving minor issues which never should have existed in the first place? This incredible silly.

That's interesting to hear. I have an Alienware R5, maybe 2-3 years old. Everyyyyything is up to date.

I have been gaming a long time and these crashes really, really remind me of the old memory leak crashes common in new MMOs.

It is a weird situation, I have an asus zenbook (not really for gaming tbh), using addons, crashed once doing vma and once during a pledge (can't remember which one), otherwise not many issues for me,very occasionally the character freezes. Stopped doing trials since I don't wanna risk experiencing what people described in the forum but so far game has been playable for these few weeks. (I do daily random dungeons, bg and pledges everyday)
