For PC NA Greyhost are you switching?

So myself and a friend are switching to a different faction in 4 days. After talking with some of our friends in EP we discovered there are many who like us want to pvp and not be on a one sided pop infested mess so they are switching as well. My question to you. Are you leaving EP as well for the time being? I have zero hate for EP. but if I can find fights easier and more readily available on DC or AD then I’m for it. I was just curious if anyone else is thinking along these lines as well because I discovered some really legit skilled players are bouncing out of EP.

I don't know what happens during low pop hours (by the score I can guess) but during high pop hours, EP don't even have to leave their tri-home Keeps to get into fights of all sizes.

during off hours its bad. we EP out pop everyone usually. During Primetime We can all be pop locked but Im looking for a more stable consistency of fights during non primetime hours. Prime time gets so laggy.

For sure that they don't have to leave their tri-home keeps during high pop hours because the opposing faction's scrolls have been rotting in EP tri-keeps for like a few days already.

For competetition purposes, it would be great to stop the scroll takes by EP. The faction stack happens when both AD and Dc are mid or med population. At the same time, it has been great ap wise especially with low pop bonus. I don´t think any decent or good pvper loses anything if they switch from EP. There are always fights to have on the losing side. Lets just hope the tide won´t turn around too much. Competitive campaign would be the best result. I respect your move.

For primetime DC is lacking the most. They really need a guild that can hold their own. LoM could help with this but they aren't usually on Greyhost. IL could fill this spot but they are usually too small so they just tag along with the rest of their faction.

A few players switching over will get you plenty of fights but to help the faction as a whole they need some guilds.

Elephant in the Room - Greyhost DC and AD guilds left. Not sure why but they did. Did they go to EP, we not in the loop cannot tell, however too many things are ongoing at the same time IC event / AOE tests of Death.

Since the AOE tests began, I'm in AD and I logon Greyhost to see the Map completely red. Maybe DC / AD have two keeps each, but havent had a scroll but maybe for a couple hours. EP has owned this campaign and at last check was 30K ahead. Let that sink in.

PC NA PVP is not competitive and is horribly not FUN at all at the moment.... sigh

I guess it depends on when you play.

You are also confusing two things PVP and Campaign wins. They don't have anything to do with each other. Campaign wins have always been decided by which faction PVdoors the most in non primetime hours. It has never been competitive and has nothing to do with PVP.

Last week during the IC even most of the PVP guilds were pvping in IC. The Pvdoor guilds were in Cyro. DC primetime guilds move to the other campaigns about 2 campaigns ago.

DIG never left Gray Host. Even during the IC event, we were running our normal times during the week for at least an hour or so before dipping into IC. We did find ourselves having to play in Blackreach a bit over the last few weeks prior to the testing started simply because we had guildies who couldn't get into GH during primetime because of the long queue.

i'm dc and off hours is basically like 1v15-20 vs EP half the time, so have "fun". i say "fun" because the problem with the number of EP isn't necessarily their total numbers, but the players who make up those numbers, so "fun" often means eating 4 lethal arrows from random directions if you aren't inside of a tower.

I remember a couple of campaigns where the campaign scores were so close the victor wasn’t set in stone until the very last hours. So it ‘never’ being competitive is not really true.

Yes, I remember those campaigns. DC VE was fighting Drac on multiple resources at the last minute. We flipped one resource within seconds of the campaign to win by 2. That was fun for the few hours that the campaigns were like this. But to get them to be like that, required multiple guilds to pvdoor the map, in off hours, to bring the score up close again.

In the end it was still just pvdoor for the campaign win. We have had something like 70 30 days campaigns in the last 6 years. Of those maybe 2 or 3 were like that. Campaign wins aren't competitive.

It may not matter in the end, but at least having a closer score keeps the morale up for the many that are participating for that very purpose.

    I miss this.
During last few hours of the canpaign we really have to work strategically. Guild strategizing together on how to get more point while at the same time defending. Keep lit everywhere you go.
I think its stop since a year ago.

You should organize DC pug when you join next campaign. One of the reason why EP has so many players they are willing to lead those pug. I’ve seen pug in DC and AD because none want to lead them. In EP there will always a group running at all time and they advertise it in the zone.

Switching to DC has been friggin epic! What shocks me the most in zone chat is nowhere near as toxic as EPs. Like not even close.

    Fights are EVERYWHERE.

Ran a scroll back today for DC and I really need to re learn the best routes to temples but it was gtg. Last night we took Drake and ***. Xans ran that scroll back against the EP horde. Friggin fun man.

We have a few but I think if you give them time, it can be just bad humor. Usually, plenty of fights to be had. Just sucks when numbers drop a bit earlier than the other factions and show a bit later.

I've noticed many of the most difficult to fight EP were on DC tonight. Heard there were some gone AD as well. Respect for seeking a healthoer balance. I like to push the map like we should, but score is not really a concern. Just having a healthy environment is a lot of fun.

The various guilds tend to switch together. The campaign won't be a healthy balance it just shifts to favor a different alliance.

Guilds might switch together but that's healthier than having what's been going on with a map completely crushed save for a couple hours of primetime to struggle to push out even from tri keeps

I suspect a lot of people not in it for the fight went EP to ride the coattails for the win and the only counter to that is for players who want to fight, to not be the carry. Looks like there's still a lot of work to do off hours.
