hoping that add-on "Free Camera Dialogue" get's updated one day
just tried it out and it really does add a level of immersion too bad it hasn't been updated since 2017 so it is actually prone to screw up

Thanks for the Free Dialogue camera I am trying it and it looks great
I would suggest immersive interactions addon and NTcam to help immersion, the first one does delays the text of speech and the second one give you options for the camera during dialogue.

NT cam improved the experience so much, thanks! It actually feels more like I am playing an elder scrolls game!

1- First of all: congregate players of the same language together.
We can't randomly interact with players if we don't speak the same language - let's say, at least, English, French, German and Russian. This ruined any attempt of "wild" roleplay in the open world since the release of the game.
Also, seeing foreign Real-Life languages in Tamriel is terribly immersion-breaking.
(e.g. A Dunmer is not meant to speak german while I play a Dunmer born in the same city as a french-speaking roleplayer. This does make no sense at all...)
It is a huge issue for 6 years on the EU server.
I bet it is a problem for NA Server too with Japanese, Québécois and Mexican.
So, gathering (in the same game layers) players who tag themselves for specific language would be useful as a smart roleplay layering system. I guess people who don't care for immersion would not mind to stay in the randomized layers with mixed RL languages we already have now.
Anything beyond this is mere bonus.
2- Add a "speech" emote animation each time a Player-Character use the /say channel.
- Make it clearer this is a roleplay channel that shouldn't be used for gamer babbling near wayshrines, in the language-dedicated game-layers I spoke about above ^^
3- Find a solution for the annoying "spin" animation (client-side) and chart/bag animation (open world-side) when we use a game menu.
This breaks the current emote of the character and also it is out-of-context when we simply seek to activate collection personalities, emotes, and so on.
Dear @ZOS_GinaBruno or anyone else in the studio, please consider this thread!
I know the question is how can Zenimax help, and I like some of the suggestions very much, but I think the role playing community is lacking some. This isn't a put down, as I am part of the problem myself for sure. However, so many say they wish to roleplay more, but are waiting on someone else or something else to fulfill that role. I think we have all the tools that we need, the role players, myself included, need to step up. I see that on all the MMO's that I play, like we are all waiting on something. Again, me included.
I am not talking about guilds here, I am sure they have some great ones, I am talking single players. We need to just do it, and stop waiting.
With that said, something to tag us as role players would be most excellent.

RP Profile Viewer can display biographical information as well as character images within the ESO game client, similar to WoW's popular TRP addon. The only catch is that you will need to maintain your character's profile information on https://eso-rollplay.net/. It also requires the use of a TTC-style downloader program (source here).
The addon can be found under the Roleplay category in Minion, or you can visit its ESOUI page for more info: https://esoui.com/downloads/info2959-RPProfileViewer.html
Well, since I know about some messages like "If you don't want to see other players than go play Skyrim", I'd like to express the idea that there should be an option to hide other players in a small radius where you have to talk to somebody and especially listen to somebody or follow somebody.
I was really lucky to be the only one at the moment when Nords, Dunmers and Argonians were dealing the Ebonheart Pact in Skuldafn. I just don't stand these stupid players who don't even bind "Toggle Run/Walk" button, who always run like crazy. But I can't blame them since I play on a "high speed" myself sometimes. And I'm fine with it in a big city since, well, it's a big city. But when I'm listening to some characters and finding them in situations where they shouldn't be surrounded by many people... Well, sometimes TESO should throw away it's "O" and be just "TES".
In other games, most RP players get to know each other through guilds and online sites like Enjin (which would probably be Discord now). This is no different than players interested in PvE raiding.
However, in other games, I have seen the game permit players from joining the same phase in a particular zone. In one they would have a huge RP gathering a bar in Nar Shaddaa which was one of the few zones that permitted a very large number of players to enter. This probably want a long way to foster an actual RP community and sense of community.
This was made possible because we could change instances and choose which one we wanted to enter. In ESO we can only group up to 12 and use travel to the player to get into the same instance and that is pretty much too much trouble, along with ESO probably has small caps per instance.
I am not an RPer but have RP friends since some are good raiders. I always thought these gatherings and what was possible were fabulous.
