Midyear Mayhem cannot happen until the Battlegrounds queue bugs are fixed. So keep an eye on BGs - if the BG queues start working reliably with Activity Finder, we've got a much better chance of getting Midyear Mayhem back.

You do realize that Midyear Mayhem includes Battlegrounds in its achievements, including Star-Made Knight?Also Imperial City, but that doesn't require Groupfinder, so that's irrelevant to whether or not we can have Midyear Mayhem.

Its not a Cyrodiil-only event and never has been.

Yay, even more lag, massive zerg trains and longer queues to get into cyro, with double AP which I don't really need. What's not to like?

They refuse to hold a casual PvE event because they can't fix their game, what makes you think they're going to hold an event for the sweatlords?

They cancelled it because "performance issues with the LFG tool."

Last I checked, the LFG tool broke the game during the Undaunted event.

Doesn't take a genius to figure out that MYM isn't happening anytime soon

MYM has always been a July/August event. The last one in January was a bonus event laid on. If the LFG tool remains broken (indeed it is still not working well in battlegrounds even without the stress of an event), I should be pleased if MYM remains off the table until LFG tool is fixed, hopefully next July

I understand pulling the event last year, but you could've went ahead with the scheduled golden sale.
It was right around the first gear changes, and I was looking forward to getting my gold Deadly Strikes jewelry.

Xeno, why would Zos cancel MYM this year for the specific reason that the GF was not performing properly if BGs were not part of the event?

I realize everyone pays attention to the information put out concerning events but take a look at the achievements for MYM. Medal Mayhem is specifically about BGs.

So yes, BGs are very much part of MYM.

Funny how we get updates on undaunted event but they were just trying to make everyone forget about one of the only PvP events we get.....

The root cause of the failure of both MYM and the recent Undaunted Event is the broken Group Finder.

Until it is fixed ZOS won’t be running either event.

Not least because, no matter how fun, if you can’t reliably even put 12 players into a BG, you don’t have PvP that you want new players to visit.

Given ZOS promised in 2018 that they wouldn’t have another event using the group finder until they were ‘certain it worked’, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for MYM.

But hey, Vegas and Skyrim

The pvp pop will be too small to have a MYM by the time group finder is fixed.
