Maintenance for the week of March 3:
· [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – March 6, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 4:00PM EST (21:00 UTC)
I have made several vampires throughout my years of playing ESO. However, I have missed this the whole time. I get the change in the skin and the color of the eyes, but why does the shape of the cornea change from the full elven to the smaller human? Is there a lore reason, or is this just an oversight by the devs?
Best way I can explain it is, When you become a vampire your turning in to what molag bal wants you to look like, he wants all vampires to have the same appearance and traits. Ergo you lose your elf eyes, you get vampire eyes not human eyes.
The whole vampire change is too dramatic honestly. I understand being pale.. but come on. Also the veins??
It gives weird human eyes to beast races as well. Pretty sure there’s no lore reason.
Vampires don't share all the same lore. Each company, each author have different rules for what vampires behave. With Bethesda vampires acted differently especially from game to game. Same for Zenimax. They have a different way of becoming vampires.
Answer is actually quite simple. You don't like being a vampire of Zenimax version, then don't be a vampire? It's lore friendly. If no veins then it wouldn't be Zenimax vampires then. Therefore not lore friendly.
As for why non humans getting human eyes as vampires, I am not sure. Nobody caught it? Maybe there is fluff saying that vampires are more of a human trait back in the day so anyone who becomes a vampire gets that trait as well? Just guessing not a clue at all. Would be nice to know though.
Not my quote but I love this saying
"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
