Looking for Serious Raiders to Start a Hardcore, Exclusive Veteran Trials Guild

Some of us at CP600 are just getting sick and tired of parkour-jumping around Belkarth, Elden Root, what-have-you; doing boring HM pledges every day just to pass the time; and waiting for your “casual” guilds to start up a veteran trial because normals are just not worth your time anymore.

Well, if any of this sounds like you, consider this offer: I’m putting together a team of 11 other hardcore members—or more, depending on interest—to clear the most difficult content before Morrowind drops. I’m looking for a tight knit group of players, sociable, flexible, and willing to work hard and diligently every day to grow and become the best players we can be in preparation for the game-changing expansion.

Yes, I will admit. To many, this will sound too tough, too arduous, like too much damn work for a video game… Well then, let me just say that this isn’t for you. However, if what you’ve read so far sparks an interest in you to clear the hardest content, here’s what I’m looking for:

For ALL applicants:

• Everyone must be maximum CP with as close to BiS gear as possible. More on the gear later.
• A working microphone and Discord.
• Living in the United States or willing to work around EST (look it up if you don’t know it).
• A deep understanding of this game’s mechanics, a willfulness to discuss and theorycraft, and the ability to take and give criticism with the goal to improve.
• A deep understanding of all trials and dungeons in veteran and their HM counterparts.
• A capability and eagerness to raid every other day of the week, every week.
• An open guild slot. Yes, this is going to be a guild :P
• And, finally, we’re looking to create bonds with each other. While I want to form a serious group of raiders, I want to have fun. Ultimately, if we don’t have fun chit-chatting, joking around, and raiding, what the *** are we playing for?

So far, this sounds like a lot of work. Fine, I understand that. But a serious attitude with a goal to impress and to improve and to become a top player is what I’m looking for here. We all need to be on the same page, maintain the same goals and attitudes while playing, and push to improve both ourselves and one another. This means score runs, runs solely based on understanding mechanics, heavy communication, etc. Still with me? Let’s talk about specifics related to each role.

For DPS:

• Ideally, only Magicka DPS is requested. This means 8 players, a mix of each class. I won’t talk idealistically here, just apply and we’ll talk spot availability later.
• An ele-drained parse, unbuffed, on the 3M dummy proving that you can hold 35K+ single-target in my presence.
• A minimum of 18K HP food-buffed.

For TANKS:

• We need 2 DKs with 30K+ HP.
• A run through one vDLC dungeon to prove your capabilities.
• All meta-applicable sets. You should know which ones.

For HEALERS:

• We need 2 templars.
• A run through one vDLC dungeon to prove your capabilities.
• All meta-applicable sets. You should know which ones.
• A minimum of 18K HP food-buffed.

I would just like to reiterate a few things, as mentioned above. I’m looking for players who are willing to clear veteran content every other day of the week, every week. My goal is to get Dro-Mathra Destroyer with this group before Morrowind drops.

Whew. That's a lot to digest, I know. But if you're serious and you wanna play this game to the extent I do, let's give it a shot together

We hope to get started as soon as the group fills up, with about a week's "respite," per-se. That means that, ideally, we'll get started running trials by next Friday or Saturday.

Count me in I am @King-Koopa experienced tank CP700+ have 2pc Chudan set to verify that completed a vDLC dungeon as well as Hist Bark and Black Rose which are the new meta sets for Morrowin BiS traits I know all pldeges and all trails hardmode wanna raid all day erryday am great with communicateon plus I can also dps here is my parse best execute NA thanks for reading!

Tbh, in his defense, not all people care about scores and even more so - maintaining scores when the leaderboards reset. I for one also completed everything except for vmol hm - you won't find my name on leaderboards. Because I'm working on vmol hm, not on getting high score in other trials. And maybe I even was there for some time - but I don't really care or follow, because the boards reset every major update.

OP, good luck. It's hard to find players for a completely new team - they usually want to join a team that's already working. Unless you have connections and they know you and others in your team. And vmol hm before morrowind if you haven't even started trying it and with a new team that's not even formed yet - would be really cool if you managed to pull it off. Post and update in June/July.

I agree. The requirements confused me. So for new team/guild with that time commitment and skill I would expect some sort of presence on the leader-boards. If OP is building a team from ground up that is a different story. This just looks like he wants good players' time without a base to back that up.

For example as a tank I have close to 10 sets that I use depending on the caliber of the team I run with. An open statement like "You should know which ones" doesn't give me any insight into what is needed.

I might be wrong. OP might end up forming the next Hodor. You never know.

I fully support this endeavor but want nothing to do with it.

All joking aside NA needs more guilds like this. From the layout of the raiding times i would expect this to turn into a score pushing guild because after you clear some content why not try to do it more efficiently?

If this actually turns into anything and want help i would glady help you with anything. Except be on the team because i have my own.

Went pretty disastrously. Got one or two people who messaged me, showing interest.

It was a difficult task to start, and asking for people to come along with me with such limitations was probably far from the right choice. Especially in a video game. Especially in Elder Scrolls Online.
