✭I think the nerf was enough from a 1v1 or 1vX perspective the tool tip damage is now lower than swallow soul. so it's not really that hard to heal through. it goes through block so it allows some counterplay to dks. It's still a problem though when used by ball groups. There is really no way to change that though even if they lower the damage more because it's unblockable and roots are so strong0 -

Mist form or gtfo is your way to avoid or try kill the person before you die.1 -

I've never even used EotS cause I can't be bothered respeccing between PvP and PvE all the time.

The only ultimate that has in average situation better ult return is probably Onslaught

zigzagzen✭✭Making Eye of Flame a channel, along with other self targeted aoe ultimates (like Devouring Swarm) would resolve most issues people have with these types of abilities. Its not that it moves, its the gap-closer delivery that really catches peolple.1 -

✭Legit question - does ANY other weapon ultimate deliver such insane damage as an AOE (vs single target)
I'm not sure there is one. Yes, my stamblade can roll out of the EotS, but when a group of 8-10 rolls into a keep after the door drops (with Emp using it too) all firing that ultimate at the same time, I'm sorry but there's no place to roll to and no time to react. It's certain death. I've had EotS from 5 different players on my recap.

✭I died to this yesterday while roll dodging to try to avoid it, the guy using it just gap closed me- then he died to my alliance mates and I died to his EoTs
