Don't be that guy and keep killing me with your nightblades moves while I'm trying to turn in a quest. :/ You know there are castles for fighting don't camp the towns, because you know low levels are questing there.

Lol. Nice try OP. It's a pvp zone. Play at your own risk.

Edit: I came into this thread expecting a complaint about dueling in towns...like that happens much anymore.

I do feel a little bad when killing an obvious PvE'er.

    But not really.

If you're in Cryodiil, expect to be killed by another player at anytime. Towns, dungeons, riding in the open, etc. Name the place and expect someone to try and kill you. I'm mainly a PvEer and even I know that Cryodiil is the place for killing other players. (At least until Battlegrounds come out.)

Note; yes it's kinda weak for people to camp out at quest turn in spots for gank kills, but it's allowed so expect it.

If you're in my way then you're a target.

Also, with town flips (like in Bruma) they are absolutely a PVP zone. Controlling Bruma allows for easy access to 3 keeps and an outpost. Also, I can flip it by myself which makes it one of the top things that a solo player can do to help their faction.

Cyrodiil is for PvPing, not questing. If you do quest there, you do so at your own risk.

I honestly always leave questers alone. But if I was on Xbox and saw the OP, he'd never turn in another quest :)

So your DPS can't help you in real combat?

I walked into Bruma yesterday solo. It was owned by Yellow. As soon as I got to the flag with the vendor I was a level 17 or so talking to the vendor.

He did not survive and I have zero regrets about it.

The quest rewards were designed based upon the belief you'd end up having to do some pvp in the process of the quest.

We are playing the game as intended when we kill you in Cyrodiil. Would you ask Daedra not to kill you as well?

I feel bad after. But when I come across one enemy I have no idea if it's just one quester or part of a larger group, so they have to go.

OP should try putting up block if they have the chance and aren't insta-gibbed. Some folks will still respect the block.

Towns are for pvp not questing there's a flag in most towns for a reason there are plenty of other zones in the game if you wanna quest.

The problem with showing sympathy to your argument, however, is that where does it stop?

Pacificism and unofficial truces radiate outwards until you can only PvP at certain times, and in certain places, or face being ostracized by the community. It's happened before in other games.

And the argument works the other way too. Why is there no PvP in your PvE zone?

I think there should be even more pvp in cyrodil, maybe like friendly fire, the more the better.

Towns are for questing they added flags to make pve players get involved. But that's the problem most questers don't care about who get emperorship. PVP is broken why do I care what happens on the map. But I'm also a Templar main so it's obvious to see what classes are clearly op when I go against them. Eye of flame and wrecking blow is a start when you turn in quest and that's what kills you. I don't run those two attacks because I'm not a scrub that needs a job that why. :)

I normally leave questors alone unless they attack me first. I know not everyone does this, and that's their choice. Is no right or wrong really.

Juste Gandolphi Dark Elf Templar Daggerfall Covenant
Richter Gandolphi - Dark Elf Dragonknight Daggerfall Covenant
Mathias Gandolphi - Breton Nightblade Daggerfall Covenant
RinaldoGandolphi - High Elf Sorcerer Aldmeri Dominion

    Co-GM - MVP

Sorcerer's - The ONLY class in the game that is punished for using its class defining skill (Bolt Escape)

"Here in his shrine, that they have forgotten. Here do we toil, that we might remember. By night we reclaim, what by day was stolen. Far from ourselves, he grows ever near to us. Our eyes once were blinded, now through him do we see. Our hands once were idle, now through them does he speak. And when the world shall listen, and when the world shall see, and when the world remembers, that world will cease to be. - Miraak

My first two kills were on PVErs in towns... on people talking to NPCs.. they never even saw me.
    noob-blade bow sniper.

Personally I consider the danger part of the fun, you actually have to be carefull whille questing instead of just spaming abilities on NPCs until they die.

Those towns are meant for PvPers who played games that had open world PVP to bring an OWPvP feel to Cyrodiil.

You go into Cyrodiil, you either fight or you die.

Sometimes I'm passing a lowbie enemy player and think, "aww how cute, poor little guy" and almost don't kill them.

Then I remember they are like baby alligators... cute when they're little but if you let them grow up they become a big problem.

I would try to show mercy to PVErs in IC when it was new. I was never rewarded for it.
