Please elaborate. If this was a chest that you had to go to an x on a picture and dig up, we're golden. If this was a chest that you just randomly saw and picked the lock for, we're still at square 1.

Please ask that the unique status of maps is removed, its a pain trying to juggle them across characters/accounts.

It would also be great if they would stack.

Considering that the Treasure Maps were NOT listed in the patch notes, I'm going to assume they are still broken until I hear officially otherwise. @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any confirmation one way or the other?

Maps don't stack, you can't have more than one of each on a character, this makes inventory management a bit difficult after weeks since the homestead release.
A person can have only so much returned "map mail" sitting in their inbox (got to have some space for guild store sale mail!). And how many times do we have to bump this thread to get some decent feedback? Even if it is your run-of-the-mill "We're working on it" update, it is at least something.
At this rate, next patch we'll see that they've readjusted the lid of an urn in some secluded hut in Wrothgar, but they'll still be "working on a fix for the treasure maps" >:(

Damn... I just wasted like 30 maps today hoping to get a sweet painting . I knew I should have checked the forums first to see if this issue was fixed.

PS4 Here had a few spare maps in the bank used them and no paintings but got a few in normal chest in the wild

Khajiit naturally assumes the delay is because all the fantastic portraits of the many khajiiti heroes have not yet been completed.

Whiskers are infamously difficult to paint well yes.

@Taurelus I think I heard of the guy... He's the one that mixed Juniper Barries in the paint and let it ferment for a couple of months before using it for painting right?
