Control your damn pets

I dont know if i am the biggest noob out there. But i cant Find the Pet Bar ( IF there is such a thing)
Running dungeons as healing sorc. and the damn pet gets agro and stays behind solo to tackle that 1 mob. its so frustrating when you wanna heal your mates and the twilight matriarch has despawned becouse out of range. SO is there a Passive button? would be sweet. is there a Come to me button? or Attack that target?
OR do these cratures just live their own lifes and we dont realy have any control??

On the other hand why the f isn't the pet assisting you with your current target?

Pets in ESO don't really take direction. Think of them like Lydia in Skyrim. :)

On PC there is a simplistic attack/recall control (I think "y" by default). My understanding is that on console there isn't.

Correct, your pets do what they want on console. Even if it means walking through ceilings and floors.

    Or getting stuck in them.
Why be normal when you can be better?

Atleast i was able to hide behind Lydia and let her take all the beating.

This *** of a Matriarch is just annoying. Stays in one place shooting their puny lightning and dying from boss mechanics.
Its like a fifth player in the grp that i need to watch constantly. But this player is a toddler with tunnel vision.

No passive stance is beyond me.

Hope they rework the pet command. Now that wardens come with some new pets to the mix.

Apparently I was wrong, there is a command pet option! Mine was unbound, so check your key bindings. I'm not sure how well it works, though.

Apparently with Morrowind, they are adding a command for all pets, in which all pets (as in every single summoned pet including Sorcs), will target the enemy that you 'heavy attack'.

That's... clunky. Why not bind it to daedric prey or light attack?

Clanfear will pull aggro from tank, so use twilight for dungeons. They attack anything that considers aggro to you, so if you walk kinda close and get noticed, the pet will usually go Leroy Jenkins on molag kena then stand in floor-lightning until you use up your magicka on wards. Other times it'll tank planar inhibitor perfectly. Like, it grabs the pinion and then asks for shards in chat. Then whispers that u are a scrub because he needed that synergy to proc his alkosh moondancer build.

But yes use daedric prey to tell him who to attack. Boss fights can be a problem but you can actually leave an overload slot dedicated to something else so it dies if needed.

Use clan fear in maw to tank blue face and he won't die from room switch. My clanfear is my runner for the last fight, I just cast curse on baharas cursed cats and the clannfear runs like an Orc using hurricane after roll dodging with a bow then casting rapids- he is a tank and uses snergies so he can find the hidden bent cats and then tail swipe them. We only fall through the floor once every 2 or 3 times because sometimes the pet just solo tank dps's bahkarat until lunar phase where the clannfear uses my ward to survive the curse he forgot to cleanse. I synergize to kill the sun eaters and my pet just like whacks bahkarat with his tail but my curse is on the dragon so after lunar phase we just cross our fingers for the maw helmet to proc and help out with my atro. The clannfear synergizes with the atro and they fuse into a dremora and then he can execute using liquid wrath morph of streak for bonus aoe pet damage curse

(For PC) The default command doesn't do anything by itself, it is Y + Left Click to attack, or Y + Right Click to return and set on passive. Although Y is pretty annoying and I suggest binding it to something better.
