Duelers have a nice fancy arena in Stormhaven and can duel anywhere now they do not need to be clogging up queues in Cyrodiil or dueling next to keeps and expecting other players to know they are dueling or to care. Show no mercy because you will receive none. In my opinion if you see a fellow alliance member in trouble you should definitely help them. That being said if I see 2 people fighting and the DC player looks like he/she is holding their own and going to be victorious I move on, that victory is theirs. I also find it amusing that somehow aiding your allies means zerging people down. FYI we don't all run around in 24 man groups.
Eventually I detect him, and I engage.
If I was in Cyrodil and saw one in my alliance was fighting an enemy I would help, only reason for not helping is he was hit by 3+ enemies and they would kill me after finishing him.willlienellson wrote: »On the other hand, I find it exceptionally annoying how any "even" fight that lasts longer than 20 seconds draws a crowd and becomes a question of numbers=win.
How it USUALLY GOES:
You and the guy start fighting 1v1. After 10 seconds when you're at 20% health and he is at 50% health, ten of your friends jump in to kill him 11v1. Then you teabag him for 90 seconds while you regen your health back to full.
Cause trolling is the real end game of ESO.
You had a LEGIT 1v1 fight and lost. That's still a win. You got a legit 1v1 fight!
I would expect others to do the same its not trolling its helping in an war.

My husband and I use NB, but with all the suicide ultra destroy bombers and sun shield Templars we have a snowball chance in hell if surviving, so we use a bow shoot something in the arss to tickle them make them giggle and let them know we love them, mist of the time we just stay crouched down and resurrect from the back as much as we can until we get one hit from another NB.
Yes we are crap players, and only 351cp so we are the easiest targets....
We needed stone kits to fix walls since we do not get much AP and we have a mage on AD side, we went in to get the quest and free AP so we could buy some stones and give to our DC mains.... What a difference a faction makes.... Everyone says thank you, everyone is polite and informative of where they are attacking or being attacked, no trolling each other in chat, or name calling, or things they like to do with each other's mother's etc... AD must be where the Adults play....
Sadly our mains are already up in the ranks and we are trying to unlock all the damn dyes so no use switching sides, and Poor AD never gets on the boards.
Conclusion DC us a bunch of snit nose murderous children, there is a few good people we have, like we stated above we do resurrect on DC, but some days just wanted to turn text chat off, but we can't due to in-between the insulation we get information about where to defend, and attack.
We played on ESO side, they are more organized, and a bit better in chat, but there is a lot of exploiters using hacks to phase themselves underground, and through keep walls and doors.... Maybe we are just to nice and don't care about competition for PvP, but we can't support a side that has to cheat to win.... We mostly doing PvP only to unlock the dyes, if ZOS would put all the dyes up for sale in the Crown Store we would just buy it and be done with it.
We have played every MMO since Meridian 59 and there is one common factor in any game that has PvP,.... It brings the worse out in players, it ruins PvE due to the nerfs making it go from few players able to take down bosses and mobs, to having a full group, making doing anything in game monotonous having a lot of down time trying to get a good group together.
ESO did do some things right, you do not have to be in a group to help other players, it's nice when I play my healer to be able to just run in and heal people even though I'm not grouping with them....
And for PVP I love the siege weapons, something very different from other mmo's, it feels realistic, someone took some time to get the feeling, and sounds down Of what a medieval war would sound like, eh... Minis the magic.
So there's your options, DC dedicated resurrection, AD politeness, EP Good tactics, very organized, but has exploiters and cheats.
~Cheers~

Pvp healer with springs, regen etc will get decked by most ppl 1v1.
Edit: was gunna edit word decked to wrecked but it fits well too.
Now that I've properly calmed I guess I should try and reiterate my original intention in a not-so ragey way.
I just want PvP to be a good experience that keeps me involved y'know? Deep down I hate competitive Multiplayer, but this is an major part of the End Game so I want to participate. But the thing is this game's PvP is so god damned messed up compared to more contemporary shooters I'm more used to such as Planetside or Battlefield, though the latter is "large scale" it doesn't compare as much to ESO as Planetside does. Cyrodiil PvP has AMAZING potential to be a great Multiplayer setting, but it's almost completely ruined by what others call the "Meta" builds not to mention the "Meta" mindset that encourages one man Army, Rambo playstyles. In the setting of this game, Cyrodiil is supposed to be a Warzone. It is called an "Alliance War", isn't it? We're there to fight a War as a Military Force, but instead we have players that dilly dally at the Gate spawns, or stand around mindlessly in Keeps, or focus all of their attention on the Outpost someone owns way behind their lines. In a sense, nearly no one takes this game seriously except when it comes to their Proc Set Builds.
This is supposed to be a Military Conflict styled Multiplayer, I want to see my Alliance advancing down the Lattice, legit Siege when we get to a Keep Wall, keep their heads on swivels, respond to threats, secure the perimeters of our keeps and outposts if there is one, even if it is a lone ganker that no one cares about. If no one cares about it then more and more people are going to get ganked instead of arriving to help the next Siege or push. This is supposed to be a Warzone, what happened to "No one left behind"? That "1v1 me bruh" stuff shouldn't exist there, that's what the Dueling mechanic is for.
Honestly I knew I shouldn't have made the OP when the Salt was still freshly applied, I knew I'd get mocked and or trash talked for it, should probably change the title to something a bit less baity.
To be fair if they were in a group and their leader didn't tell them to go chasing the squirrel, then they shouldn't have gone. Some leaders have plans(even if that plan is just to stay on the porch and let the enemy come to you) and do not tolerate group members who run off doing their own thing.
