Magplar build?

I want to make a DPS magplar for PvP but i don't wanna do any of that blazing shield reactive armor ***, so what should i use?

5 soulshine, 5 Spinner and 2 skoria/grothdarr is a very solid dps build; maybe quite expensive to get two Spinner sharp swords.

Pretty basic but works for now.

You need heavy attack with the destro staf of bar to recharge magicka and a lighting destro is also good to put enemy off belance.

When you're doing heavy attacks on Mplar you're losing the whole point of high damage build in my opinion. Your target literally receives a break to heal / rebuff / cut you down.
Besides you're vulneruble while channeling.

Any recommendations for lower levels and no cp? Also do you think magicka templar will still have a place in pvp after the patch?

Im running 5 kags, 5 lich, grothdar, DW torugs pact swords (sharpened). Offbar lich S&B. 5H, 2L. Full spell dmg enchants on jewelry. Tristats on major armor pieces. Magicka on rest.

1400 mag regen unbuffed on DW bar. 1550 on off bar. Spell dmg with major and minor sorcery is 3.1K on main bar. In pvp ive seen my spell dmg go up to 4.5k (groupplay). 30k mag. 21K health 10 K stam.

This is a non cp build. You will run out of magicka eventually... But even with spamming BoL like mad. It takes about 30seconds before the tank is really empty... Thanks to lich/rune. When lich procs and then with pot. Mag regen is 3.4k for 20seconds.

I run 5 soulshine and 5 spinners but the soulshine pieces are jewellery, chest, and legs. This still gives me the 5 light armor bonuses. I use the defensive trait on my spinner swords to make up for the light armor. I have also recently changed to the slimecraw monster set and love it.

5 lich back bar and jewellery
Valkyn Skoria head and shoulder.
Willpower sword felt bar or destro.

Julianos and Willpower jewelry is a good start for this sort of thing if you want to avoid the gear grind. Magus and Seducers as well.

You won't be a superstar but, if you're still leveling it will work well enough.

And yes. Magplars will be fine. These nerfs aren't as big as people are making them out to be.

5 spinner (body pieces)
5 trainee (weapons and arcane jewlery)
2 skoria/grothdarr

Witchmothers brew is a must for this setup. You can run the atronach if you need more sustain. I run 2 recovery glyphs on my jewlery with the thief mundus stone instead of the atronach.
