A few funny common NPC sayings were made on a different unrelated thread and I thought it would be cool to make a thread for them solely.

What have you heard over and over... and over again while playing ESO?

I'll start:

"If you're looooking for the Bank of Mournhold, you've come to the right plac-" spamming continue button at this point

"I'm going to lose my shirt here! If these don't get delivered, I dont get paid!" - Woman by Belkarth Wayshrine

"Cart them up a road to a school where they lob off the heads of the unworthy?? No thank you. Somebody's bound to turn up eventually..." Her again...

"HALT! I was sent for you!" Annoying Nord spirit just outside Riften that follows you.

"THIIIIIS ONEEE HAS SEVERAL ACCOUNTS TO SETTLE BEFORE THE MOONS RRRISE AND FALL" - Khajiit banker in Rawl'kha

He really needs to get over that. It's been years in Tamriel time.
I started that quest on an alternative, my husband announced to the living room, "Niedras?? A THIEF??" and I immediately dropped the quest.

I love the way the actress for this one drops the pitch in her voice when saying that last sentence.

Rawlkha is the most convenient town as the bank and guild traders are directly next to the wayshrine with a general merchant close by, however the above saying makes Rawl a repetitive mess if you have the speech volume turned up..

I can't remember the full conversation, but it did make me laught a bit.

Player: "Are you their blacksmith?"
NPC: "No, I'm their bard. I lost my lute and drum and decided to replace them with a hammer and an anvil. Of course I'm their blacksmith."

NPC up by the water in Daggerfall, near to the table where a couple of ladies sit

(references a regular comment made by guards in Skyrim, etc).

Sad that I can remember so many and much more amusing ones from Skyrim. I can't think of a single NPC comment in ESO that makes me laugh.
