    Especially when the target has huge burst healing (magplar, stamdk for example), that can be the most effective thing to do so it hits them the moment they get into range from the damage of other players, rather than having the chance to get back to full.

    Oh I'm very cool with it! My approval stems from missing listening to everyone's complaints. Between proc set and crown crate nerf threads I was worried that people no longer hated us. I enjoy the tears.

    Ok this really is a L2P issue, JB is easily countered, block, interrupt, gain distance. Yes it hits hard when you're caught in that low health and when raid on raid it is hard to see who it's coming from but 1v1 or small man, very very easy to counter and as I've mained Temps for the last 2 years and my recent being an exicution build with a hard hitting JB sure I've rekt people with it but a good player knows what to do and I've definitely come up against those players and will highly respect those that can counter me but in all honesty, those players are very few, probably 5is players in the 2 or so months I've mained this particular Templar. It doesn't need to be nerfed people just need to realise you can counter pretty much anything in this game

    I think I need help..... I don't even see the problem with jesus beam anymore.

    Proc sets are so broken they make jesus beam look proportionally balanced. Fml

    The last time I had a problem with cheesy beems was the last time there was a multiple mundus exploit in game (2 patches ago I think). I have a ward though so my opinion might be selfish. At least the skill has more than one counter.

    The true problem is proc sets. They are so unbalanced and prove zenimaz has no idea what theyr doing.

    In a 1v1 just bash or use a interupt ability on jesus beam users

    In all seriousness though, it's stupid that my heavy armour Magplar can 2 shot 4 out of 5 players on the EU server in open world PvP.

    *** needs a nerf.

    How about Learn to use Venom Arrow (Has longer range then RD) or Crushing Shock?

    Now be quite and go back into whatever closet you crawled out of. :trollface:

    JB is killing one person at a time @ low health.
    Eye of the Skill is killing entire groups at full health. Nuff said

    I have been using JB a bit lately and from what I see of when it is useful is when someone is probably going to be dead anyway because no heal comes; but thats me waiting for the execution window. I have noticed that I have been hit with it while I am nearly at full health and it does nothing, but what people are doing is keeping it on targets just in case someone else hits them hard while they are just spamming it.

    I think the ability is fine, but what I would do is maybe make it to where the bonus damage doesn't happen unless the ability was activated on the target when the target was already in execution range. Would eliminate some of the cheese to it.

    My tooltip for RD right now is 15k over 2.8 seconds. Add an extra 20% if you are at full magicka (which is impossible, since casting the spell will automatically give you less magicka but whatever), will give you 15*1.2= 18k over 2.8 seconds. That is what it hits for at full health.

    I mean, it's not even remotely close at full health. Shatter Soul/Soul Assault is vastly stronger at full health than RD, which is why you only see poor players, or players with o other options at range using RD at full health. OR misfires. That happens all the time.

    To me it just makes sense that that "execute" is not even usable until the target hits 50%-25% (respectively for the execute type)

    As for beam. I sure do miss the days it could be roll dodged, as stupid radiant can completely stop cloak from being casted.

    That would be fine with me. Would help stop targeting the wrong player/mob also. Targeting in this game has been terrible since they changed the tab-targeting from the reticule box to the silhouette we have now.

    As for cloak not working with RD on you, are you sure you aren't being hit with Soul Assault? That skill actually prevents cloak for 2 seconds according to tooltip.

    @danno8 nailed it. We have almost identical numbers. For what it's worth, just going off of memory a non-crit RD will start at about 5k. A non crit Soul Assault will start at about 8k.

    Here is my tooltip with a spell damage pot.

    RD - 17104
    SA - 81344

    I don't really look when I'm in combat to see what the SA hits for. Radiant is all over the map depending on the target. I've seen as low as 7k and as high as 20k (guy must have had zero impen and no resistances).

    As someone who mains a templar for PVP I acknowledge the skill is OP. I think they should lower the initial tick of damage on it and/or decrease the range?

    That said if they were to do that I would love some sort of speed buff to templars in exchange for the nerf. Our mobility sucks and I would gladly make that trade.
