I was in Vivec last night on my mount looking at the map. Got insta killed and didn't see or hear any abilities go off. There was only one AD when I looked around. Checked my death recap to see what hit me, only one player. On death recap got hit with flame lash, power lash and fetcher infection all from only one player. How can one player have Dk move and warden move??? Have screenshot but on PS4 not sure sure how to post. Is this a cheat?

I've been too lazy to do it myself, but, from what I understand

    - you need to download (use a USB flash drive, or, connect directly to your computer) the image from your ps4...upload the image to your computer (I imagine your phone would work also)...then upload the image to imgur...then upload the image to this website using BBC code: (img)image address(/img) instead of using parenthesis you need to use brackets: [ ]...

I know, sounds like a lot of work :)

folks do it all the time though, so, it can't be too bad...

in regards to having mixed class skills from a single player source show up on your death recap - yeah, that makes no sense...

not to say that folks don't ever cheat, cuz they do, but, sometimes some really strange stuff happens due to game performance...

I have known and been saying for years that the death recap often is wrong and buggy at times.
Half of the nerf request come from people who hold it as gospel.

I hate running into a ball group trap. But I love when we get them spread out and pick them off.

Sanj seems to have rallied the AD masses out of the wood work the last few days.
Like everywhere we went thy appeared like magic.

All of the good AD had been on Shor due to lag and politics, also because they are soft, they prefer to farm AP and kill easy blues and reds, Shor is literally like the shortbus.

This caused a ton of blue and red to go Shor, which caused all of the AP farmers on Vivec to get upset and move back to Vivec.

ever since I posted I wouldn't be pvping in vivec EU as much - all I've done is pvp there :)

last night ran in to a few situations were I was the only one defending the keep - to be honest, I was sort of hoping to see the effects of the increased siege damage, after the update, that the PC folks had mentioned...

my scattershit catapult and flaming oil didn't really seem to be doing any "extra" damage that I could notice...

Yeah I think they managed to sneak that patch into the console DLC release. I imagine it would have been totally OP in non-CP campaigns though

did my very first scroll run yesterday over on the EU server...

it started weird, we got the ni-mohk scroll from arrius and I was following the scroll runner, but, no one was really following us (turns out a few of the folks there went to go get our other scroll)...

about halfway to chalman the scroll runner suddenly disappeared - it was so weird...one second they were staring at their map, the next second: poof, the scroll was on the ground by itself...no one else was around so I picked it up...

headed to chalman and picked up another couple of players...ran, huffing and puffing to bleakers...when I got to bleakers there was 6 or 8 reds attacking the outpost...went up to the top and started pouring oil down...I was pretty sure the reds folks were going to get inside, kill me and take the scroll back...

thankfully more blue showed up...the fighting was still going on when I left out the side door by myself, headed south and then started running towards aleswell...

when I got to aleswell, put out a call in zone chat to get a escort back to the ni-mohk temple...got invited to a group led by "cotton" (regular raid leader during that time period on the EU srver)...

it was funny, a couple of times during the run I got clowned for taking so long...actually I thought I did kind of okay considering I was on a level 35, no cp toon wearing all heavy :)

Ran Ni-Mohk scroll once late one night a couple of years go as a Vet 16 on my Templar in heavy gear. No one else in the guild group wanted to run the scroll so I picked it up. All laughter broke loose since I'm usually reserved and just follow along. Had one escort while the rest of the group went for the other scroll. Everyone was laughing on group chat. This was before text chat. I kept running out of stamina. My lone escort was ganked and killed easily. I was killed shortly thereafter. More laughter when the announcement went up that I dropped the scroll. Haven't volunteered since...

    nice :)

seriously, that thing's like a hot potato - the whole time you're carrying it you're convinced that you'll be attacked at any moment...especially if you're alone or only with one or two others...

it's not like that scroll gives you a buff or anything - it's just a big sign on the map saying "come kill me"...

one time I turned the wrong way with the scroll trying to get through the chalman milegate and ended up getting trapped by lake rumare, and, then killed...

I was so mad at myself...it was one of my first runs and I was pretty panicked at the time and didn't bother checking my map...

having that big light over your head can mess with your sense of direction a bit...

been playing on my AD stamblade the last couple of nights in NA vivec...

the first night was a little rough for me finding the right rotations (I have a hard time proccing merciless resolve even when I'm comfortable with my rotation)...

I play late night US and generally there are a lot of small group and solo players who roam around that are pure beasts out there...

I love playing on a nightblade just so i can take pot shots at them...

I can't endlessly cloak on my stamblade like I can with my magblade, and, staying in stealth can get a little glitchy at times - for some reason at times after attacking and going back to crouching I'll be inexplicably unstealthed for some reason...still it's fun to slot mass hysteria and sneak up on folks to mess with them...

it was a little frustrating though, cuz, I had to let myself be killed a couple of times just to get unstuck from combat...

I have 10 toons so completely agree about having to remember rotation when switching toons. I need more transmute crystals so got 7 toons to Tier 1. I'm the guy at the base rotating my skills over and over again before I jump into the mix.

ha...I know people probably just think we're "flexing" - but, it's completely just to get all my buffs, de-buffs, heals, shields and attacks in order...

that's funny, I can just picture someone going over their rotations over and over again with nothing but friendlies around :)

If you put the same category skill in the same position on the skill bar on all characters it helps.

I saw you last night! I think it was near carmalla or wherever. not sure if you were on your stamblade or not but I came over to say hi and then all the yellows around you started attacking me.
There was a dk tank (probably pve judging by how little damage he did and how squishy he was) and a magplar. The Magplar was pretty good. They almost got me a few times. Entropy, Spear, power of light, soul assault, Jesus beam. I would just go and hide behind a tree and heal and kite until my health was full.
It was hard to kill either one of them though...I would go for one and then get ccd by the other. Eventually I killed them and then the Magplar and I met up again and had ourselves a little 1v1. I won that one and was hoping to have another fight but some random blues took the outpost while we were fighting.

very good question sir...I've had the godkids (ages 5 and 7) over the last week (ugh spring break :( - :) ) and have had to set up our two ps4's to play disney infinity (way underrated game) and fortnite...

no gaming for poor old geo...I miss fighting out there in cyro a whole bunch...

on a side note: much much respect to all those parents out there doing the "raising kids" thing...man, is it hard and time consuming - even more so when there's more than one of them around...

I'm so tired, and, I just want to find somewhere to hide and play my game :p

thank you loki - you rule :)

hmmmm, so - alliance lock on sotha and kyne...that's good...players only able to emp once per campaign...that's good too...

I wonder how long before i get a chance to pick up this new crazy weapon...sometimes on the EU vivec map there may only be a handful of players from each alliance playing...

how sweet it would feel to power up one of my no cp level 36 toons and fight...

    Break walls by yourself huh?
Now everybody better sit on scrolls in keeps. lol

They should try the alliance lock on at least one CP campaign because everyone will conclude they don't work because of low population caused by no CP.

looks like I may have misunderstood, the alliance lock will be on all maps except for shor...

hmmm, actually - just made my mind up...I'll stay yellow in NA vivec...park blue in imperial city...and go red in shor...

I wonder if they'll be some kind of reset mechanism at the beginning of each campaign..

I listened to the stream again. The old sets they mentioned were "Withered Hand, Warlock, Essence Thief, Trappings, Leaching Plate, Affliction."
(this is in reference to old set updates with the release of elsewyr)

    thanks raddleman...

I hadn't heard this before...I've got a bunch of essence thief (cashed in about 15 hundred keys putting together a spell power set)...

my very first cyro set was affliction - I thought it sounded so cool, at the time I didn't really understand how stuff worked...i just thought the idea of free damage was great...put it on again for a little while a year or so again with a defile set...

Further Adventures of Talion the Rusty

Nikel Outpost, my old stomping grounds. "Hey hey," said the Honor Guard, "good to see you again, Talion. Is... is that heavy armor you're wearing?"

"What, this? Oh... uh... yeah. I'm not that confident right now."

"Haha, chicken!" taunted the Honor Guard.

"Listen, you're wearing heavy armor too, and you're an NPC. I don't have to take that from you. You know how many of your kind I've killed?"

I went out the front door of the outpost to see what was happening in Cyrodiil. There was a small skirmish between a couple of blue, and one of our guys taking place in the field north and west of me. So I charged out and instantly realized I'm in over my head. My partner got whacked before I could get in range to heal him and now this *** is dragon leaping right into my face. Oh no! Crap! Ah! Quit it! Ah! Ah! He's comboing the hell out of me! Aah! Lucky for me I've got this heavy armor on. Suck it Honor Guard. So I get up off the ground, "Is that all you got?" I hit him with the Total Dark just so I can catch my breath in between being beaten on. It stops him long enough for me to heal up, pop my shield ultimate, and run like a madman back to the relative safety of the NPC's. "Hello again Honor Guard."

So there's two blues standing out there now. They're just out of range of the NPC's. I see them hopping up and down, shooting off some light attacks. Basically daring me to come out. It worked. So I'm buffed up and ready, figuring I could always run back to the guards if I get into too much trouble. As long as I don't get drawn out too far... Immediately I get drawn out too far and killed.

So I walk out again, stop, and play some lute music. One of these *** has the poor taste to interrupt my song and I have no choice but to engage. Just don't get out too far. I do a better job of refusing to be drawn out and I'm actually about to kill one of them. He's so close! Bam! I was attacked from the flank by a blue Nightblade. There's three of them now! Fortunately, I was able to successfully survive player three's burst with a skillful proc of my Earthgore set. I popped an immovable+heal+magic potion and went back to the front door.

"High five, Honor Guard! A job well done if I do say so. I'll catch you on the flippety-flip."

And with that, Talion disappeared into thin air.
