Stamknight dunmer using Dual wielding on main, snb on secondary, all points into stamina, all glyphs are stamina / stamina regen, using 4 piece morkuldin and 5 piece hundings rage. No set jewelry yet, because I havent found any and grouping for dungeons is a NIGHTMARE in this game.

The only thing I havent done yet is get gold enchantments and gear because I cant craft 150 gear yet, and am not wasting my mats to upgrade <160 gear.

I dont have the abilities memorized otherwise I would post them too. But I will give it a shot.

    Main bar :

    Rapid Strikes
    Blood Craze
whirling blades ( for regen )
    Flying Blade
    Deadly Cloak

    Ultimate : Ferocious Leap

    Off Bar :

    Venemous Claws
    Noxious Breath
    Invasion
    Igneous Shield
    Resolving Vigor

    Ulti : Corrosive Armor

    Stats

    18 k health
    25 k stam
    700 health regen
    1900 stam regen

Buffed ( with wrath and flying blade buff ) Weapon Damage 2500

    Sign : The Warrior

    Traits on Armor - Impen
Traits on Weapons - Defending , I plan on changing them to nirnhoned when I have top level gear crafted.

The damage is just downright awful to be honest. I honestly might as well be tickeling people. I am up for suggestions, but I wont change my character into a cookie cutter steel tornado meteor spam sheep.

What I am really wondering , is it worth to get rid of impen traits and go for something else? I can just imagine running without impen, and it was a nightmare before i discovered that trait...

So. After long testing with heavy armor in pvp, even after the dps tweaks to the skill line, heavy armor is still awful.

Wrath does NOT make up for the damage you lose by not using medium, the stat return from being hit is far FAR too low / slow, the damage mitigation from your resistances is STILL way too low, it needs to be doubled that of what it is if the line is to stay the way it is, the stat return from heavy attacks is pretty pointless with bad damage in the first place.

Either make HA a pure tank gear, or make it more viable for a hybrid, where it is right now is just awful....still.....

Heavy armor is the better way to do now, heavy armor have everything.

It has a tiny fragment of everything. It is not nearly on par with medium or light.

Armors are now pretty much balanced.

Some even say heavy armor is op, but pay no mind to them, they are usually gankers that want to one shot everyone. Be happy heavy armor is now viable in pvp and make a better build, don't worry about those that will tell you your build is ''cancer'', it actually means you have created a strong and powerful build.

Armor abilities, on the other hand, need some balancing, shuffle is way to good and senseless in comparison to the other armor abilites, especially the heavy armor one. This is an ''action combat'' mmorpg, we don't need passive dodging based on RNG that has no stamina cost or anything, and that allows you to dodge even while cc'ed; in fact, it's a better tanking ability than the heavy armor one.

Id love to make a better one, but every ability i have slotted serves its purpose, and it is all well thought out, but it is still just weak in comparison to medium. Yeah I cant be one shotted most of the time ( it STILL happens with all impen and 22 k + phys resist ) but do gold glyphs make THAT much of a difference ? Is there gap between purple and gold stats THAT much different?

There is a difference, and you will notice it once you upgrade your gear. Every little number counts in the end.

As a stamina dragon knight in heavy armor you will never die, of course, it would be a lot easier if you were a redguard, which would grant you endless stamina and increase stamina.

But first and foremost you must upgrade your gear, your hp and stamina are really, really low.

How would I get higher HP? I would have to invest into health in my stats and wouldnt that just be more detrimental to my stamina then?

I was thinking of chaning my race to woodelf, but the race changes are seriously WAY too overpriced, they are not even that much in SWTOR. And that game takes the cake when it comes to overpricing things. Seriously, a race change should not be more than 500 crowns.

Well if you really want advice and tips, perhaps I can help. I run a stamina templar in heavy armour using black rose. I have 1.1-1.2k stam regen irrc, 42k stamina without UD passives and 3.2k weapon damage on my one hand and shield bar with rally.

    1) You aren't running CP160 gear
    2) No jewelry sets
    3) Your stamina is incredibly low
    4) Your weapon damage is insanely low
    5) You are running defending, you should have sharpened not nirnhoned

Your damage is so low because your build isn't optimized. You lack penetration, max stam, max health (Im assuming that 18k health is in PvP?), weapon damage and you are missing some pretty important skills (such as rally, shuffle, a CC other than your gap closer, etc).

Sorry if this sounds like I'm being rude or anything, not intended that way >.<

This^ basically. Heavy armor is actually king in pvp atm. I'm able to get up to 3.7k weapon damage fully buffed on my stam dk...and I have like 38k stamina. The same goes for my magicka DK (but for spell damage and max magicka).

I have all max stam enchants and stam regen, and all my stats are invested into stamina, I cant do any more to get higher stam, and how on earth am I going to get more health without sacrificing stam ???

Staying alive isnt the problem, rally and shuffle are pointless with this build, and when your gap closer has a 1,5 m min range, you dont really need another one, the problem is damage.

I am now running the 3 pc marksman jewelry set, that gives me a bit more regen, at 2 k now, but does squat for my damage.

Are you running any food or drink? That will boost your stam pool or stam regen ... though I think your regen is good already at 1,900+.

3pc Agility jewelry would be a better upgrade to Marksman if you're looking for more damage.

Heavy armor is very powerful now. Your build is all wrong for PVP and for heavy armor.

My suggestion to you is to go with 5x blackrose, 3 agility jewely (get healthy or even a piece of arcane if price is an issue), then run Morkuldin head/shoulder and weapons/shield. You can go medium/light on the head/shoulders if you have undaunted passive but 7 heavy is really nice with Blackrose. Well fitted, sturdy, or impen are all viable for head/shoulders considering you already have 5 impen from black rose. Use an axe sharpened and a dagger sharpened on dual wield bar.

If you get a good monster set (malubeth, bloodspawn, velidreth, skoria), you can drop Morkuldin all together and go 1 Agility and 2 Endurance on Jewelry with your dual wield bar being Agi/Agi and your sword and shield bar being Agi/Endurance.

With tristat food in a similar setup to what I posted above, I have 30k HP and 37k stamina and also much higher weapon damage than you.

EDIT: also cp160 weapons upgraded to gold is pretty much a necessity. You can keep your armor at cp150 and purple and not lose a ton, but golden weapons are a huge huge huge increase. Also enchant your jewelry with weapon dmg.

Your gearset is backwards. Get 5 hundings

Lol, sorry, I wrote it backwards, it is 5 hundings XD

Why would you not use weapon damage glyphs on your jewelry? 1900 Regen is definitely not necessary for heavy armor in pvp. I use medium armor and do perfectly fine with 1k regen in pvp.

Also your said only 9 armor set pieces. What are the other ones youre using? Morkuldin is not good for pvp in my opinion. Your should have done 5 Viper (3 jewelry and 2 weapon or 2 armor) then 5 hundings rage with either bloodspawn 2 piece or Valkyn skoria 2 piece, or 1 bloodspawn 1 Molag kena. Or use maelstrom weapons. It's your build. Not heavy armor and it's passives. If you're using a shield you for sure should use reverb bash. You'll never burn someone down with only 2500 weapon damage. I have a similar setup with 4100 weapon damage and I melt people.

Heavy is pretty good. Not on my Magicka DK but on my Stamina DK i've had plenty of 1vsx fights i won, with very decent players. Especially on the Stamina DK it's good, though i havent tested it on other classes yet.

Imo its great on stam classes. The bonus resource return is great on heavy attacks. Melee magika builds cant really utilize it, and the constitution passive is abysmal without black rose (another zos balancing around the high point, not the median again i presume).

the cost reduction being amazingly high on med/light armor kinda caters to spammers, which is the name of the game now. Spam WB, spam heals, spam SA, etc.

So unless you go full block build, in which wrath is completely useless, more benefit can be gained from med/light.

People saying HA is fine or OP actually mean "Black Rose and Reactive are really good sets".

Anything else, you'll be better off with MA or LA.

This is what I was thinking, because the damage disparity is far too high between my numbers and what others are posting when the builds arent THAT different.

Are you running any food or drink? That will boost your stam pool or stam regen ... though I think your regen is good already at 1,900+.

3pc Agility jewelry would be a better upgrade to Marksman if you're looking for more damage.

I already run a drink that increases stam regen and health regen.

Where on earth do you get the black rose sets????

Right, then before I change anything I am going to wait until I have 160 gold gear. I will report back then! Thanks for the tips guys.
