Hey ZOS why the hell are there so many ppl with 2h and bows!

This is starting to get ridiculous, ppl with 2h and bows flooding the map, using the same exact combos in battle. Where the hell is the diversity in the game! Do something, anything to bring more balance in game.

Well with there only being 4 options for weapons, there will be a lot of over lapping. Heck, there is only really 3 PvP options when dueling as DW is terrible 1v1.

As two why 2h and bow, it's because poison injection and dizzying swing. Deadly combos when you have the Maelstrom weapons.

Ya i saw the pattern too, everyone is using the same pattern. Diversity is dead in this game cos other playstyles are far weaker.

I'm 2H/bow.

I'm just better with 2H. Personal thing. I've tried the others.

The bow is just something I use to soften up mobs before switching to 2H.
Also comes in handy if I need to keep my distance.

It's because ZOS decided that Stamina was the only attribute that should matter...

Well it's because the 2H weapon line has very beneficial skills that favor Stamina-based classes.

I mean....

• Rally - Heals you, gives you increased Weapon Damage, lasts for 33 seconds, AND heals you for more when the effect ends?! Who wouldn't want this?!
• Dizzying Swing - Really controversial skill lol
• Executioner/Reverse Slice - Execute ability
• Increases Stamina regeneration whenever you kill something while 2-handing

When you're done looking over all your characters, take note of how many of them are stamina based.

The stamina bias is getting to the point that the magicka bias was at launch. It's at least getting there.

I still have a mag DK, mag sorc, mag NB and hybrid DK, and prefer to play mag in PvP.

I prefer stam in PvE, because i run trials a lot, and less than 50% of the healers in random groups know what Elemental Drain and Siphon spirit are, so magicka is just not sustainable enough to my taste.

It's not because there is a stamina bias. It's because soft-caps were removed and it is easier to get the one stat that everyone cares about, damage, higher on stamina-based characters.

I, personally, reject this, and still play what I have fun with, and don't obsess over numbers. I still have a good time, still do well at PvP, etc. What it comes down to is that this is the easiest way to get higher numbers, and that's all that most people really care about.

Because 2h/bow-build got everything. High damage output, extreme mobility given the bow passive.Combine it with Shuffle & e.g. a Stamblade's kit and you got an unstoppable thing. It's got DoT, CC, heal & damage. I mean, you don't need anything else than that to be God-Mode, so why use anything else?

Have you ever bought a car, and then the very next day you see everyone driving that same car? I'm guessing you are using a 2h/bow?

Take a break from the game and come back and you will start seeing that there are other weapons being used all the time.

I play Magblade with duel and resto because I already mastered the 2H bow Dawnbreaker Dizzyswing after DB released . Needed a challenge . Most people don't like to fight out of the comfort zone .

Heaven forbid the thought that perhaps all these people ENJOY 2H/Bow... perhaps OP it would be better if people were forced to choose to play something they don't enjoy?!?

Just because you might not enjoy it, doesn't mean the people who do are choosing them because of min/max reasons. Sure, some do, but many play what they enjoy playing... and the same goes for classes, races, etc.

I'm only Two-Handed because there's no One-Handed skill line the game (I have all my TES characters use single swords). If there was I'd pick that. Until then, Two-Handed.
Bows because Keep fights are much easier when you have a ranged weapon, and as a Stamina character staves wouldn't work for me.

There never WAS an ice age to begin with, but perhaps someday there will be... Meta aside people are definitely calling for more ice skills.

2h and bow is a very fun combo to play. I think my mag sorc is fun to play as well. I use a destro to staff on my mag sorc so I guess I am pushing the destro play style as well.. Lol.

Diversity is the biggest culprit here; if there were polearms, thrown weapons, crossbows, and whips added as weapon skill lines and not just a token class skill, AND if each had an OP move like 2H and Bow, the game would be so much more interesting.

But we all know that some omnipotent force somewhere in our galaxy has forbidden any Elder Scrolls game to have polearms for player characters.

So we suffer in mediocrity.

Well stamina based characters are the go-to for cheese loving players.

Path of least resistance which gives you very little to overcome for player skill.

You have regeneration, super high burst, DOTs, burst heal, HoT, defense, CC, survivability, and the ability to dodge just about any ranged attack.

If you are equating winning with fun, aka tryhard, then you are kind of shoehorned into it.
