Hello everyone,

Today i've been told that stamplar is weak in pvp and basicly worthless, when i disagreed, I've been told i am noob and stupid. Lots of insults and no arguments why stamplar is bad apart from that that person who told me plays since release and beats everyone in duel and he knows best.
Well, putting that aside, i was about to use race change token on my stamplar, but now im not so sure. Is stamplar really weak? I dont wanna spend 3000 crowns on underperforming class. Can anyone present some arguments and examples whats is going on with stamplar?
I enjoy playing stam dk and stam sorc aswell, but all of those characters have "bad" races now, and i can afford only one race change atm, i would really appreciate some help!

Err stamplar is arguably the best Stam class in PvP right now, idk what they're on about....

Go two hand and bow redguard. 7 medium. Hits hard, good sustain with repentance, Major mending and a purge.

As stated above, almost (if not all) stamina classes/builds are strong atm. The reason stamplar is good (I´m not good with stamplar PvP since I´m not very good at PvP, but anyway...) is because of their ability to selfheal with vigor+major mending buff (like ritual of retribution). You also have good sustain since you can slot repentence and get back some health and stamina after killing other players (also gives you some extra passive regen just by being slotted). When it comes to race: For more sustain choose redguard and if you want more surviveability choose imperial. Would probaly choose redguard if I made another stamplar

All stam classes are incredibly strong right now. Stamplar is definitely not weak by any stretch, but I guess if I had to rank the 4 I would put them below the others because of slightly worse mobility and sustain.

I am about to try out heavy armor redguard with viper set. Can i suistain with hundings, or do i need black rose? Or is medium armor needed for stamplar(because no heping hands like dk or dark deal like sorc)?

Also, i feel preasured to make redguard, is that suistain on other races(I'm personaly big fan of orcs) really that much worse?

Go black rose for sure

Aa far asredguard being be all end all..

In medium, no.

In heavy, you'll notice a difference. Go redguard if you want to wear heavy.

I have a Orc stamplar, he uses 6 med, 1 heavy and I have about 1700 stam regen and use food. For me that's enough regen for me in pvp

People don't give Orc enough credit. I think its a great race. The speed boost really makes a difference in PVP, especially on a class that has no mobility to speak of.

Viper plus jabs and a burning light proc is awesome initial burst. Fyi, viper procs off burning light. I've thrown a spear and done 10k damage before. Follow that with a stampede light jab weave and follow with an execute. Does great. I don't even use a bow... but bow 2h is the craze right now, for good reason.
I use skirmishers and twice born though with 3 impen. Does pretty good.

People don't give Orc enough credit. I think its a great race. The speed boost really makes a difference in PVP, especially on a class that has no mobility to speak of.

About that mobility, is that 10% increase from 100% basic speed (sprint speed is 150% basic speed) or is it 40% increase sprint speed that gets bonus 10%(to combined bonus 144% sprint speed)?
Also, anyone know if Orsimer melee damage passive affects burning light, biting jabs and viper? That would bw good to know before rase change.

Stamplar are the strongest in PvP right now......

All Stamina classes are strong right now. In the current patch, we are looking at a Stamina Meta for good reason.

Stamina Templar has easy access to Major Mending, along with a cheap Cleanse and lots of healing. Biting Jabs is also very strong. Repentence gives free Stamina and burst healing from multiple corpses.... there are so many great skills. This class spec is arguably the strongest one in-game atm in PvP.

I run about 4700 weapon damage, albeit lower recovery but you catch so many bodies repentance takes care of that. Health is 26k and stamina is at 33k. I run 2h and bow with a 69% crit. Nothing better than 2 hitting a vampire emp wih cano Hunter and snipe. Do it, you won't regret it!

Yeh, just my preference.

Heavy bow attack into javelin is good damage though, especially from stealth.

Yep best choice is to pick weapons you like most. I am just awful with bow but with dw I can be pretty good.

If you use quick cloak from dual wield tree, you will be even faster!

Stamplar was the weakest class by a far margin until cleanse and rune focus got buffed.

It still has the worst sustain in comparison to the other classes. Repentance only works if there are bodies around.

Dk, nb and sorc all have much better sustain and mobility.

Nevertheless, the gap has been thinned and stamplar is not as far behind as it was before.

I still see them as free kills, except for a few individuals (I'm a stamplar myself).

Aw man...you want survivability and power? 5 heavy or 5 medium hybrid pelinals build. Drop agility and get 3 fury jewels with 2 fury DW maces/ axes. One kena and one (new weapon damage undaunted set for 1 piece bonus). Gold everything out with at least four impen and three infused with three tri-stat enchants one infused pieces. You should be pulling 30-33k stamina, 16k magicka, and 30k health, if heavy and WW transform you'll be capped resists with almost capped crit crit resist, use vitality pots, and you will be able to honor the dead cast for 1/3 of your health (1/2 at low health), stack that with vigor, shuffle, dodge rolling? You will wreck while not in WW, and you will be an unstoppable killing machine with 40k stamina and 5000 weapon AND spell damage at the same time...its...stupid...how effective this build is. Stamina build with full honor the dead capability...stupid

Would put Stamplar at the top of the best stamina classes in the current meta. Their class kit synergize well with stamina. Also the only class with a class purge that's quite cheap, as well as giving bonus healing buffs.

Stamplar is insanely good.

All stamina classes imo are quite balanced against eachother. They all do slightly different things really well, I don't feel like any of them are absolutely better than the others now.

Magicka needs a few tweaks still and then I feel we have a mostly balanced game. Most of the real disparities in classes come from armor sets and itemization. We are finally getting pretty close to a good balance.

So I have a high elf stamplar... and he can beast. I am absolutely turning him into redguard on console. I suspect people are either trolling you, or just don't know the power.

True. I love that skill but theres just no room for it at my current build.
