Getting error 210 when loading the client

I was playing the game fine last night and I've come on to play it some more before work and I'm getting an error 210 when I try to load the launcher thats about the patch manifest notes. The repair button doesn't do anything and just brings up the error again. Really don't want to have to uninstall the entire game as I have abysmal internet speeds and thus this would take days just to download. Is anybody else having this issue after the maintenance yesterday?

the PatchManifest error 210 can and should usually be ignored, as the issue causing it isn't very likely connected to the state of the game's files on your side. If the error is shown, click Ok to clear it, then close the Launcher and restart it, until it displays the "Play" button. You could also try to set your DNS server addresses (either in your Mac's network connection settings, or in your router's configuration) to those Google offers -- 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 -- to see whether the error occurs less than before.

Upon starting, the Launcher connects to the CDNs which globally host the game client's file repository. It then tries to determine whether the local files are in sync with the global ones by comparing checksums. If the (random) CDN exit node the Launcher connected to is slow in answering due to high traffic (e.g., on a patch day) the Launcher may run into a timeout and raise the error in question. Using different DNS servers (i.e., different from those your ISP usually provides) might alleviate this.
